This is Michael Oliver we're talking about, normal rules don't apply. I'm half expecting this second half to last a hour just because someone told him it can't be done in the tunnel.

I wouldn't say no to him going the other way and blowing now. Moribund game if ever I've seen one.

Just seems like we were destined to lose.....not over yet of course but it just feels inevitable. Hope I'm wrong

Pussy defending at its finest, give the man time to wind and shoot and step back so you don't block it!! Great shot that beat DDG

That was clear after this laughable red and bringing Fellaini for Mkhi.
Until this Moment we had been on par with Chelsea.

Disagree, he's run all night and popped up everywhere. Even Zlatan would be ineffectual without service
Not saying Zlatan would have scored or anything but we miss a focal point, we can't make the ball stick upfront, this has been the case all game.

Put Mata/Lingard on, we're as blunt as feck. Losing the game so nothing to lose.

Keep it at one and you never know but not very confident. Can see Fellaini getting a great chance and hitting the bar.

Keown ? Who cares about him, he was always a donkey and we sure beat Arsenal many times with him in the team. He's still passed about it.

This is terrible. Might actually click the 'Meet Russian Women Online' ad that fills this site every time I switch it on.

    Pogba disappointing
These were the kind of matches Paul Pogba should be showing his worth but the much cheaper summer buy N’Golo Kante has been all over United’s Frenchman. Pogba never got near him for the goal. It’s what the United midfielder should be doing to immediate opponents. Very disappointing.

Our problem is not the focal point, it's the fact that we can't control the ball and pass the first wave of pressing of Chelsea offensive and defensive players. That's all. If we could pass this first wave, whoever in front would be the problem then but that's stage 2, we're not even there yet.

    Both fouls not a yellow.

First one, Herrera is indeed aware of Hazard's run but he just moves his body for self protection against impact. It wasn't an attempt to take him down.

2nd is also ridiculous. A sideway regular foul with no clear danger from Chelsea's attack.
    This.

Refs told to try and keep players on pitch unless dangerous or persistent.

Stats say 8 fouls by United, 4 on that diving tawt Hazard and 2 by Herrera..... and apparently that's "persistent" and two yellows for Herrera.

I can't stand this notion that "pretty" players (aka skilful dribblers) need to be protected.... bollox. A fouls a foul whoever it's on, not just because the media fawn over them.
