Not confident. They will be fired up for it. If we can get a goal we will be doing well. Two would kill the tie.
I would try and keep it nil nil and maybe nick an away goal on the break. I don't see us as favourites in this tie.
Did they rest their players for the last few weeks, given they will finish mid table? They need to go for EL as much as we do.Why? They're 11th in La Liga. They've lost their last three games. Have scored less than us this season and conceded twice as many.
In what world are we not favourites?
Am I actually seeing people suggest we might just about manage to reduce them to only winning 2-0. This place is pathetic
They will finish mid table for a reason though. They are an average team and United should beat them over two legsDid they rest their players for the last few weeks, given they will finish mid table? They need to go for EL as much as we do.
Still put us down to go through over two legs.
They're way too weak defensively even with their A team. People keep repeating that they beat Barça and Madrid but that was with those teams playing the reserves and/or having key players injured. Never seen so many doubts about a team trying to beat Celta don't worry, they aren't 2012 Bilbao
I would say the same for you

They are on the downward spiral in the last three months. Think they won only 3 in the last 12 games in La Liga with 7 defeats. Aren't particularly convincing in Europe either. Not that we've been consistent enough to make it an easy tie, mind.Have we ever faced a team this good? I mean, they beat Barca and Madrid, they must be the best in the world.
Barça has this weird thing of being over-confident when playing away in the north of Spain. Much has been said about their Anoeta curse but everytime they lost there it was by playing a lot of subs. Barça trashed Celta in the Camp Nou and the sky blues didn't put a fight at all. Also Celta typically start the season stronger and then fade towards the end. Berizzo is a Bielsa disciple and the squad can't put up with the intensity for the whole season. They've tried to rest players these weeks but I don't think it's enough to overcome United. Your lot is very solid defensively and with some good counter-attacking you can easily disarm CeltaThey have defeated barca for the last three seasons.
Dont get this 'they'll be fired up' talk. As if we don't know what's on the line. Not confident. They will be fired up for it. If we can get a goal we will be doing well. Two would kill the tie.
I'm dreading this and think they will run us ragged.
If we play our cards right, we can bring a major upset to them with a 1-1 draw.Have we ever faced a team this good? I mean, they beat Barca and Madrid, they must be the best in the world.
I'm terribly pessimistic. 0-0 away, 1-1 at home with us missing loads of chances would be pretty typical for this season.
And we miss chances for fun.Going bold and saying 3-1 United, Celta concede for fun.
That's the sort of refreshing optimism we need round here at the moment, I hope you're right!Ballsy prediction - United to win 4-1.
Difficult to guess the team tonight. Not many certainties, only Valencia, Herrera and Rashford, I would suggest. I reckon something like this:
Romero
Valencia Bailly Blind Darmian
Fellaini Herrera Pogba
Mkhitaryan Rashford Lingard
If they want to attack us or try and control the game, then we will be delighted to play on the break.
Gone for:
DDGDespite having faith in him up until now I think Mourinho will be pragmatic and play DDG over Romero as DDG has experience at this stage of the EL (an importance he heaped on Mata)
Valencia - Smalling - Jones - Darmian
Herrera
Fellaini - Mata - Pogba
Lingard - Rashford
Although Bailly is fit, I think Mourinho is going to be cautious with him and avoid losing him for the rest of the season.
I expect Lingard and Fellaini to help Valencia on the left hand side with Sisto and Pogba and Herrera to help Darmian with Aspas.
It looks attacking on paper but I expect them to be compact and deep for the majority of the game with Herrera, Mata and Pogba looking to break the whizzkids upfront into space behind whenever possible.
You want a river that you can't watch? Can anyone pm me a reliable river I can not watch?
