There'd be an influence from them - OGS said himself in the pre-match interview that he consulted with them as they've been with the players all season. He also said he watched a few matches himself and has an idea of who he wants to play and how he wants us to line up.

Matic needed to be dropped. Under Jose that is.

His first season with is he was good. This season He's played every game even though he's been at fault for goals and has not had the quality to the job required of, for a #6, to start attacks or break up the oppos play. But under the right tactical setup we could see him do well again.

It is a fresh start for everyone. Matic isn't a poor player. He's just had a rotten season. But so have so many others.

OGS has 2 games in 3 days to pick players for. He's picked well in my opinion. Rotation is key in the xmas period!!

He's not been great but someone online a few days ago posted some stats that showed Matic was actually able to move, contrary to rumours he was so old if he did move, he would instantly turn into dust.
