Can’t help but feel Ole is asking for it here

Williams is a big risk, starting Young seems totally unnecessary and I can’t believe it would do Greenwood any harm whatsoever to play again today

Liverpool seem able to roll out the same XI week in week out without any issues

This thread is going to be savage. Makes sense to keep him for the Arsenal, Wolves and City games coming up.

If playing Pogba in this match risks further injury were we could miss him for longer then it’s the right call. We need a fully fit Pogba to get into the top 4.

Doping has many benefits, including unlimited stamina.

Maybe our players should give it a try?

Man that line up looks really poor.

Lets hope we can put a performance but im not hopeful looking at that.

I love the fact that everyone's losing their shit over the lineup. That's usually a sign we're going to play well.

Myth is sign us getting a result, nothing to do with performance.

But what if we need to rest AWB so that he can be ready for Arsenal? That is a bigger game we need to win too. I think it's a matter of focus. If those players are focused, they will go and fight for the ball. And if that's the case, it will work out because that's really all we ask our players, go for the bloody ball and score!

There is no way Solskjaer would have Pogba out of the squad just to rest him for the next match. We have no midfielder on the bench.

Which can only mean he is not ready and we can't risk him.

I can understand Pogba, he did come on for an injured McTom longer than planned and this is too soon. It's a gamble but so is playing Pogba sub or not with one day rest after surgery and coming back after a long time out. We need Pogba good for the second half season run-in.

Yeah, not as much confidence in this lineup, prefer to get the result and then rest rather than try to rest players and then rescue it with subs of its not going our way.

Marks sense, especially with Arsenal in a few days. Fred is in top form and Matic isn't as dreadful as he is being made out to be.

I would tend to agree but surely he has to be on the bench? I'm not his biggest fan but with out mcT that midfield is looking atrocious

Has to be the weirdest reason to not play a player who had just been absent for 3 months and played last 2 games gradually, including a full half last game. To now go on and not even include him in because it's too soon. :wenger:

We can't afford for Pogba to have a setback, even more so now with McTominay injured potentially long-term. Wrap him up in cotton wool so to speak.

Team reflects the 48hr turnaround, and is all about squad rotation to maximise freshness and minimize exhaustion injuries.

I see it's the Pogba Circus again. Forgot about him as we have an important game to win tonight. Weather he has been left out because he's on his way next week or if he actually is injured I'd rather start with Fred, Matic on the other hand , well at least he can put himself in the shop window!

A win here will put us in 5th place, a point behind Chelsea who have a game in hand.

We absolutely must win to keep the pressure on. No excuses.

Spurs behind, wolves are at Liverpool and Chelsea play Arsenal.......golden opportunity and we have no team. Sums us up this.

So Burnley will want a war and what does Ole do - he throws Williams and Young in.

    Awful team selection.

Spot on. They'll be up for it more than usual and be at it from the first whistle. That line up looks like we're taking piss to a shit fight.
