Like Shaw is very good this game as well. Nice to see.
They massively overperformed last season and got lucky with clinical finishing/really bad opponent finishing. Fully expected them to be woeful this season
Umm why ? I feel like I have changed from a Mourinho apologist in tje view of the form to a Mourinho hater now despite not saying much. Say something @SirAF
Pretty tumescent stuff but the cracks are getting papered over due to how awful Burnley are, Mourinho is a lucky man.
Not really.. it was supposed to be "only Brighton" and we still got outplayed, so even beating relegation fodder is progress right now. Any comfortable win where you create and score, you can't complain too much. Just hope we keep going since they are so bad so we really can get a confidence boosting scoreline hereSetting the stage for the, it was only Burnley narrative.
Small things like that are why we start every attack a man down on the opposition. We'd be a lot better in attack if our CBs could pass between the lines.
Best half since City away. Dominant. Burnley have been really bad though.we playing well then?
Best half in a long time. Nice pace in attack at times, good decisions, work rate ten out of ten.
Too many false dawns in recent years to read into anything other than it being a fantastic half. Given some of the reactions to Liverpool’s first half yesterday I,m surprised this place isn’t proclaiming that we’re on for the treble.
Good to be 2 up. Cant imagine Burnley will be this bad for another 45 mins
Considering this, Dalot shouldn't have a mountain to climb to surpass him. One assist and he's already made the spot his own, even though he's displacing Mourinho's captain..Oh, the amount of chances we'd create if Valencia had any end product or attacking sense
You’re fine mate
They've always been shit, we just made them look good cos we were kind of crap
We played like Liverpool teams of the 80s today
