First time ages we have the ball close to Brighton's box and we play it back to Onana
And Brighton actually are more injury ravaged than we are currently. And this is not a one off. Regardless of the result, De Zerbi's Brighton have played ten Hag's United off the park every time.
The way Amrabat and AWB are playing, it looks like 9 individuals and 2 mannequinsMaybe, but it is difficult to judge anything when we look shit no matter who plays. We look like 11 individuals than a team.
We still get outnumbered regardless and our opponents still create chances. For our team, it's absolutely pointless, Dalot isn't that good on the ball anywayIf you don't do it people complain that you're out numbered in midfield. That's when you get scenes of Casemiro receiving the ball with 4 players around him.
The bar is set ridiculously low.....
Imagine telling United fans at the start of the season that this is how it would end.

18 months later, guaranteed to be on the deadwood list to sell. Pointless player. There were quite a few posters making that suggestion. One half-decent performance (which wasn't even that great) somehow led a ton of people to think he would make a "decent squad player".
Really ever since the cup final it's been trash. There were plenty of bad signs in the second half of last season.
Yup. I was hoping that we could build upon last season in this season, and improve on the mistakes. Unfortunately we’ve gone completely backwards. It’s Groundhog Day.There were plenty of bad signs in the second half of last season.
Not this bad. There were plenty of bad signs in the second half of last season.

Same. Even I didn’t expect us to be this bad. I expected another 6th place season. We’ve been so bad it’s impressive. We looked really, really bad in pre-season friendlies. Then against Wolves. We knew at the beginning of the season that it was going to be a dreadful season, but not even I thought we'd finish 8th.
All season everyone talks about a massive squad clearout, and then when the season comes to an end they start making the case for keeping all the players they previously wanted gone as a "squad option". You see it in the Amrabat thread, the McT thread, AWB, Maguire, etc.People still think McTominay is a “decent squad player” too. Its the Caf favorite term because everyone is terrified of starter quality sitting on the bench
Yeah. Signs have been there right from start of season. We looked really, really bad in pre-season friendlies. Then against Wolves. We knew at the beginning of the season that it was going to be a dreadful season, but not even I thought we'd finish 8th.
You are going to watch it with us. Don't be selfish.
