Ridiculous handball but we know our players crack under pressure so we can't keep trying to shut up shop from 60 minutes.

Ten hags continued deployment of won't is just stupid
The problem is there is nobody else.

Clear pen and Brighton perhaps deserved the win. Poor display from United today. But Brighton can feck right off and McAllister too.

If Brighton didn't have such a brutal schedule left they could be bet on to move further up the table.

We had lost control of this game early in the 2nd half and Antony and Martial were passengers, with Fred being totally ineffective.
Why didn’t ETH recognise it and make changes earlier?
Bringing on Weghorst effectively had us play with 10 men.

Leggy and fatigued maybe, but we are way off the pace for a deserved top 4 spot.
    Progress, what progress?

How in God's name do humans with functioning brains in this thread not understand what has been asked of the players this season. Petulant fecking couch managers the lot of you. Do everyone a favor and go support another club. These players are flesh and blood ffs, quit fecking whining.

Good game overall. Thought this was going to be a draw all day long. Very even game.

The problem is there is nobody else.
Nah sorry but that is a weak excuse, look at the players brighton were missing tonight and de zerbi came up with a plan for getting round that. You cant convince me playing wout was a better option than bringing eriksen on and putting rashford up top, or playing pellistri out wide and rashford up top

Ten Hag has work to do in the summer.

He needs to look at himself in a mirror first. The subs were poor again, he chose to not give Pellistri a shot as a replacement for Antony again, and he puts on the pit of nothingness called Jadon Sancho again.

They’re very good at the press and also creating the right shape to find each other well for tiki taka or quick passes in general.

They’re gonna make a fortune with a couple of sales, if they keep this manager for a season or two their fine.
Odd feeling he could*** be up for the city job when pep leaves if he keeps this up. I’m just trying to think if the team he had now had one of Haaland, Graelish or Gundogan what the score would be.

Maguire, McTominay and Fred. Who else can we sell realistically for anything decent. But FFP means us getting people off the books right, so maybe even people on big wages just getting rid for free almost. Could be 150 then

But even just getting them off the books, out of the squad is a step in the right direction. We might have to be smart with players at end of contracts or near end of contracts. There is always bargains to be had. unfortunately we don’t have brightons scouting and recruitment so it probably won’t happen. We just need rid of the players who aren’t good enough. Take a hit for a season or two to build if needs be.

My God. Game that looked like we should be winning, ends like this. We are so wasteful in front of goal. Plus, hope we never have Marriner again this season

Squad is knackered. We need some proper quality strength in depth

Shaw was bar far our best player, only for an inexplicable error at the end.

The first set of subs were decent, not sure why EtH feels beholden to Weggy. He must have made him some desperate promises, as it makes no sense. He can't head, hold up the ball, make runs, dribble, nothing

Also, Casemiro very lucky not to get a second yellow. We deserved what we got in the end. Absolutely no strength in depth, fecking Glazer cnuts.
That isn't down to Glazers. Our recruitment has been as bad as Brighton's is good. We have frittered money away on overrated players. Even now. Antony isn't a £89m player.

Rubbish so he is not to tackle anymore? Might aswell sell him if thats the case. The incidents you are referring to are not even near what was be done to us. Rashford foul going to the ball that ended up with Antony and lead to the malarkey when he was foul. So again going by what ref gave for yellows for, it was one for foul on Rashord and one for the foul on Antony that was the same as the one shaw got the yellow for.

No game will be easy because we can't score
It won't be easy because we are under enormous pressure when Liverpool's form is better than ours. And are we confident we won't blow it? Has this team showed enough bottle? No.

    Antony isn't a 89m player Antony isn't a 89m player Antony isn't a 89m player Antony isn't a 89m player Antony isn't a 89m player Antony isn't a 89m player Antony isn't a 89m player Antony isn't a 89m player.

Right you lot can all copy and paste this as your footer, even though it was Shaw's fault we lost and the fact that we loose most games when Antony isn't on the pitch.

most negative fan. There’s no way you can support the team. Some of the comments you make are genuinely abysmal, so in my head you have to be on the wind up.
    You're abysmal

    Edit;

We have beaten a top 12 team away from home. We've scored less than fifty goals. Post the cup final, our form has nose dived and we've looked really poor.

Apologies. You're right. Wout is a bad choice. But the pen wasn't on him. I thought Eriksen should have started. Fred starting is negative.

Actually thought some of our play was good, Brighton are a solid side at home and with plenty to prove
Antony rashford martial all missed clear chances

But what does Antony ever offer? Shaw was the best player on the pitch prior to his brain fart, as he was for the last couple of games.

We play three forwards every game and only rashford offers any threat. Its no wonder our goal difference is so bad

That and bad finishing from a number of players
Rashford and Antony score, we aren’t left blaming shaw for his only mistake

Only four points ahead of Liverpool with a game extra. And we have no form at all. 2 wins in something like 7
Yeah the form is really bad. Even the wins were a little bit desperate, as I recall.

The amount of times we had a throw in/gk/free kick and would instantaneously turn possession over to Brighton was a disgrace. They can get fecked the lot of them, at least under Ole would could fecking score
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bought Maguire end of story, you should crawl back under your rock.

Did the Glazers not employ Ed Woodward?

what ? was it desperate against Villa? What you all don't realised is bar the Shaw stupidity, the Referees and var are having a huge impact on our game.

You miss the point. We bemoan our strength in depth and blame the Glazers. The truth is our recruitment has been awful and we have overspent on average players and Antony is one example. When you see the likes of Mitoma who cost just £2.7m ...he is far more effective.

I think we also have to bite the bullet on Antony too - he offers absolutely nothing.
Really funny how opposition team seem to score when he isn't on the park then. He rarely give the ball away and can receive it. Yet tonight you ignore the worst player on the pitch by a mile, Martial who has cost us over the years a lot more than Antony has.

Woodward didn't pick the players. He held the purse strings. The planning in recruitment has been non-existent. Even last summer. Casemiro was a panic buy and the fee reflected that..same with Antony.
But notwithstanding that somehow we have to get some kahunas because I think we need 9pts from 15 to get Champions League because I don't see Liverpool doing anything other than win our last games. Meanwhile we look flaky.
