I hoped for Bailly, but this will do also. We got this
This.I'm sure Ole said wrong yesterday when mentioned "Eric and Harry" because after that he mentioned "Eric" again. I think he meant Victor and Harry after watching that presser again.
And cost us 3 goals in it.Quite a few goals recently? He's played only one game recently.
Overrating of Bailly is quite something here on Caf. This guy can't stay fit more than 2 games in a row, have at least 2-3 brain farts every game and should have been sold years ago. He should be nowhere near the first team and for all his faults, Lindelof is still better than what we have on the bench. Of course it doesn't make him great or anything.
Lingard has been better than James in the few games we have bad this season (Villa included), so I´m not that surprised. He could perhaps have been on the bench instead of Fred or McTominay, but so could Ighalo.Dan James not in the squad. Injured? Leaving? Just left out?
Agree. Harry and Victor were part of one of the best defences in the PL.This.
People need to watch the press conference. He 100% meant to say “Harry and Victor” but accidentally said Eric because he had him in his head for his next sentence.
It’s obvious it was a mistake because he said we’ve seen how well Harry and Eric played together last year. They barely played together (if at all!).
Pffft he’s the next manager mate.Fred.
That win was recently and comfortable. Why are we such overwhelming favourites? We've only won at Brighton once since they've come up?
I'll agree that he was at fault for the Giroud goal against Chelsea. Seville was all AWB. Didn't catch the Palace match (first match in about 3 years) but it seems he had a stinker so fair enough. I'm not trying to say he's world class or that he can't be improved upon, but he's by far our best option currently.Palace, Sevilla, Chelsea.
Long time in football. We're in a very different place than then. That win was recently and comfortable.
We have VDB and Pogba in a deep-lying midfield role. There’s lot of ways to change the team without bringing a further forward on.As others have already pointed out, not having a genuine attacking option on the bench is worrying. I get that it’s a weird time fitness wise but it once again highlights our need for attacking reinforcements. If we go a goal down today we basically have Lingard and Donny to rely on, even Mata and James aren’t there.
We really shouldn't be odds on for this. Brighton have started well and we're not match fit.Why are we such overwhelming favourites? We've only won at Brighton once since they've come up?
if lindelof or Maguire get injured, he's going to have to. Might as well throw him in the deep in and find out now, instead of February.Do posters in here honestly think Eric Bailly is capable of playing two games in one week?
It's exactly the same line up too. We are in a different place but I expect us to win comfortably today. While the bench is weak, but we shouldn't need to be relying on the bench today anyway.Long time in football. We're in a very different place than then.
Not striker on the bench, it’s gonna be a long season..
What were you expecting? Lionel Messi or something? Can't lie, I'm underwhelmed by that line up.
That’s our strongest lineup isn’t it? Got to be.Can't lie, I'm underwhelmed by that line up.
Ighalo was Solskjaer's pick. So it is on himNot striker on the bench, it’s gonna be a long season..
Simply not good enough, like Pereira and DalotDan James not in the squad. Injured? Leaving? Just left out?
What were you expecting? Lionel Messi or something?
This is pretty much our best XI.
He can barely keep himself fit to play 2 games per month, he definitely wouldn't be able to do 2 games per week.if lindelof or Maguire get injured, he's going to have to. Might as well throw him in the deep in and find out now, instead of February.
He is there. Just not named in the eighteen.Simply not good enough, like Pereira and Dalot

Lingard isn't a winger. We have no forwards good enough to ever play over Rashford Greenwood Martial.Lingard has been better than James in the few games we have bad this season (Villa included), so I´m not that surprised. He could perhaps have been on the bench instead of Fred or McTominay, but so could Ighalo.
