The best of De Gea (numerous shot stops). The worst of De Gea (getting overpowered on high balls and turnovers on distribution).
Agree. He catches the eye with shot stopping but has never dominated his area for us. Scared to come out to catch balls on corners. But we would be three goals down at halftime without him

Absolutely horrible first half yet again.
1 shot on goal, zero chances created.

No midfield cohesion, misplaced passes, underhit passes, too many passengers. No link between midfield and attack

The league position dont lie, we are that bad.

No cohesion, no teamwork, can't believe how far we have fallen

that’s what I expected. 4222, 442, 424, 4231, 433. All of these changes in this short period of time. The players, who were already underperforming, are now also lost on the pitch

There isn't just 'one thing' that we can do to fix this side.....but we've got to do something about the midfield two. Fred is so bad. So bad. So bad I feel like I'm going crazy having to watch him. We can't progress the ball through the midfield because McT and Fred can't play on the half-turn and we can't defend because Fred and McT seem to offer no protection or aggression whatsoever.

More poor passing and lethargic play, Telles is not living up to the reputation he had as a good crosser of the ball. If we have been better in the previous first half of games we are in trouble.
Maybe because most of the time our crosses are just hopeful punts into the box with maybe 1 player waiting.

The same sloppy play from us. No understanding between the attackers, just try and get it to the wings for a cross that is headed away every time. I just don't see a system in place. I have no idea why DDG tries the long ball, he is either inaccurate or our players just can't win the headers. But he is the one who has kept it 0-0 so he can punt a few more into the stands if he wants.

Honestly don't know what to change. If we had players who can play quick passes and switches of play we could evade the Brentford press and fashion a chance but they and every other PL team know how shit we are at dealing with the press and go gung-ho against us with good result. Only silver lining is that it's still 0-0 and we may get something as they tire out. I don't see us scoring two if we concede first though.

Whatever it is that Ralf and his coaches have doing, is not working. Will Rangnick be fired if continue to drop points regularly against weaker teams?

No. Unless we have a brutal run of results like at the end of Oles tenure, they'll ride it out till the summer.

Remember when people were saying some players would do better with no fans in the stadium meaning less pressure. Think thats turned out to be most of our players, petrified of having the ball and getting pressed.

It's like listening to Tory MPs... talk a good game and deliver f"ck all. Said it before, the past 2-3 years was all smoke and mirrors and zero substance. No improvement on Jose

Very poor half, no chance creation. Brentford defend very easily against us and break superbly and should've had at least two goals. We look no different to when we were losing to Watford under Ole really.

I mean we don't have the best players but there's something really odd going on in how timid and uninventive they all are. Like they're all on some performance de-enhancing drugs.

That was a long time ago; before the glory, plaudits and pressure of being a talisman; since tasting the aforementioned and becoming very familiar with the support striker role, playing deep seems to be antithesis of what he wants, but more concerning, can do.

He’s failing at every facet of the role, on and off the ball.

But players don't forget basic things that easily and I would be very surprised if he wasn't used deeper in training all the time because he has to be one of the emergency/alternative options. Also he is incredibly undisciplined as an attacking midfielder too, stats are nice but he is the Russell Westbrook of Football.

I'm drawing some comfort from the fact that next season there is no way on this earth that United will accept being this bad again and will somehow eventually get it right.

What is the plan to have 2 goalkeepers on the bench? I can not remember seeing a single game ever where 3 goalkeepers were needed. Why not have a player on the bench who will be able to contribute something instead? Or at least a youth player who could gain some experience by sitting on the bench with the first team.

We’ve been bossed for most of the first half.
Our attacks and pressure are just being soaked up by yet another another drilled defence.
Most of our possession counts for nothing.

That Fred bloke of there’s is doing a good job against us…………..eh! What’s that you say….?

Owen talking sense at HT we are just getting out worked and out fought. Need to win the second balls abd put some god damn effort in.

Why do i keep spending my evenings like this?

    Yeah the kids are asleep...

There is so many better things to do then watch this drivel.

We're unwatchable. And that's what i hate the most.

not sure what time zone you’re in. It’s 12 midnight where I am and I am really thinking I should prefer sleeping instead of watching this crap going forward

Victor Lindelof - 4/5 aerial duels won through 45 minutes.

Van Dijk in their 3-3 draw against Brentford - 1/4 aerial duels won.

    Ivan Toney dominator.

Maybe because most of the time our crosses are just hopeful punts into the box with maybe 1 player waiting.

At least with Ole we had so many people in the box - I don't know what the feck we are doing under Ragnick. To be fair, this is nothing like how his previous teams appear to have played. This is dull shit. Utterly terrible.

We looked exactly like against Newcastle and Wolves. Toothless and so disorganized in literally every fecking thing. They cut through us like hot knife through butter. Don't think our front three managed a single shot the entire half.

Let's bring Matic on for Fred and move McT further up. Fred has been shockingly bad.

The sooner RR fecks off the better. Dreadful stuff this. We are literally being outplayed by every single fecking team.

Remember when people were saying some players would do better with no fans in the stadium meaning less pressure. Think thats turned out to be most of our players, petrified of having the ball and getting pressed.
We really benefited from the empty stadiums.

Owen tearing utd a new hole in the studios. And he's right.

Hargreaves saying these performances are down to the players, not the manager. He's right too.

I'm drawing some comfort from the fact that next season there is no way on this earth that United will accept being this bad again and will somehow eventually get it right.

That's more optimistic that I am. I fully expect a relegation battle next season.
