I'd say overly flattering of McTominay, and harsh on quite a few. Telles has been good. Nothing is sticking up top, and even though the midfield is being played through and nowhere near physical enough, the attacking line has been really poor. Bruno impatient and inaccurate in his passing playing as some sort of a controller from deeper. Greenwood pretty anonymous.

That doesn't stack up at all. Look at the table and the top four. There are no 100% gimmes in the EPL these days. Every team is competitive and you need to show up for every game.

Other teams have found us out. They've had a season of our very very limited playing style and every single team knows now how to set up against us. We could already see this at the back end of last season.

It really doesn't matter who we get. Unless we sort out our midfield we're going to be terrible.

Just no threat in that United front three. None of them contribute to the team creatively or act as a workhorse. United massively miss the Rashford of 12 months ago and still have that massive gap that they expected the Dortmund Sancho to fill. Rangnick’s got to get those two firing.

Scruffy rubbish from us once again. The passing is laboured and aimless and we're being outworked at the back, so when we do yet another panicked clearance we're beaten to every second ball.

Brentford are a spirited, decently-organised team but we are not doing the basics as well as they are. We're again looking for a couple of players to turn it on, grab a goal and have Dave keep them out single-handed. Nine out of ten times that won't work, we need to buck our fecking ideas up.

I don't think it's that bad, they had that 5 minute spell and the counter attack from another of our shite corners but we've mostly controlled the rest. Ronaldo and Bruno have been off so far hopefully half time sorts them out.
