Greenwood is so frustrating. When he plays with the rest of the first team he appears to do little but look for the shot. When he plays in a heavily rotated team (West Ham in Carabao, Young Boys at Old Trafford), he tends to show a bit more maturity and delivers a better performance for the team. He’s having as bad a season as all of our other forwards right now, but the focus has largely been on Ronaldo and Rashford so far.
I know Rashford has been in wretched form, but even when playing terribly he makes things happen and keeps the opposition honest. We need more of that and we need Sancho’s deeper link play between the midfield and other forwards.
