You're right, I wouldn't. Neither would've United. He would've not have been given the interim job if he wasn't associated with United. But he did a decent job in his admittedly very short stint. He made us look better going forward and better defensively, making the best of a shite squad. I certainly didn't expect to see us finish this low in the league under Amorim and I didn't expect him to be so tactically inflexible. If he insisted on 3-4-3, he should've been given the job when he had a full transfer window and preseason to work with.I bet you would not be saying this if Ruud never played for United.
