Blimey - two striker formation?
ThisWatch us not have a shot on target or any touches in the oppo box next 15 minutes.
Dalot is twice the player and was twice the player at the same ageDorgu learns from Dalot obviously
United made Alan Smith cry many and many timesCame flying in like an express train. Red every time for that.
Amorim read the cafObi Finally on.
Maz off
I bet you would not be saying this if Ruud never played for United. Sure as hell you are not saying it because he is amazing, brilliant manager. In hindsight, it would've been better for everyone involved if we kept Ruud until the end of the season and reassessed in the summer.
Sorry, we are shit. Fact is we can’t finish or defend. It isn’t luck not going our way, it’s consistent bollocks week in week out. We’re about to get 0 points from the last 2 games and we’ve actually been the better team both times. Luck isn’t going our way
well we always leave 3 at the back so....If we leave 3 at the back with Bournemouth's lone striker sent off, well then I'm not sure how we defend Amorim for that.
It was only going in if Kepa was standing on the other side of the net and behind the advertising boards.10 seconds it took for Obi to get a shot on goal. Was going in too.
10 SECONDS.
We build up in a flat 4-2 with an inverted CB and have done so for months despite it clearly causing us serious issues and making us less progressive and it resulted in Dorgu getting caught and us punished. So if Garnacho gets a million shots a game and Hojlund is a Championship level striker...how are you concluding that it's the build up shape that's 'dogshit'?
Surely if we have a CF who's out of his depth and a forward who gets tonnes of chances but can't finish them then it's a personnel problem?
Or look at it another way...Ireola is a well-regarded manager...what have you liked about Bournemouth's build up play? Most of these mid-level teams with fashionable managers have no clue how to build up, it's goals from set-pieces and transitions. That's the difference.
In hindsight, it would've been better for everyone involved if we kept Ruud until the end of the season and reassessed in the summer.
