So the problem is the recruitment, not the manager. I dont pass the blame of Dorgu to Amorim, he is one of many signing off on the player.
I'm also fine with Dorgu if we are signing a LWB. It's a key part of the system and Amorim needs to realize that it needs to be a high priority along with attack.

No point in playing them when you know the result already.

We're just fatiguing and injuring our players only to lose the game anyway. Would rather keep everyone fit and fresh for Thursday.

This idea that a manager has to bring in his own players to improve things needs to fecking stop as Amorim should be able to at least improve what is already there just like the Wolves manager has or Moyes has without bringing in their own players and working with what they had, rather than losing every week and killing all confidence Amorim should change things tactically then build what he wants from there but refuses to change a thing.

This is the issue though. We have to be trying to build a title winning side, so that means taking time to get the right players, rather than just upgrading the shit we have which would be very easily done. Unfortunately in the meantime we have to field a team which means persisting with the shit players who the manager has no use for. That’s why I feel a little for him.

The performance in the 1st half has been typically poor, though there have been moments where we should have scored and are somewhat unlucky to go in at the break 1 down. Tyler Adams should have been sent off prior to the goal, he was in the air with studs up and then to concede after is a sucker punch. Still in the match though and despite there being a lot of errors in our game, we can score today.

With the way we're playing and the openness of the game, we should give Obi a run at this in the second half. Garnacho has offered a threat because he runs at them. We need more of our players to do that.
