I think it's gonna be a score draw, especially if we don't have our first choice defence. A draw won't be a very bad result either, as long as we don't have more injuries to deal with.

After this, we would have relatively easier games at home

Maguire is out or a doubt?

All you negative so called fans; we lose a player or two and you come out with doooooomsday scenarios. The team to me is starting to get some confidence and enjoying the benefit of a hard pre season. Doom and Gloom, Doom and Gloom, We will win this 2 1.
If we don't win at least I enjoyed supporting the team to the end. UTD UTD UTD

Weather is appalling. Another couple of hours and matches will start being called off.

Its weird, you know the 'Mandela Theoery' shit where people remember things vividly that didnt exist? One that north Americans mention a lot (I have lots of Canadian mates), is to do with some kids books about bears where everyone remembers the name differently to what it actually was.

Bailly-Rojo played together maybe once. It was mainly Jones and Rojo that looked a solid enough pairing (compared to what we were used to since the good ol' days), but somehow it became a 'thing' that they were a proper partnership.
Nah, they played together about seven times over the course of a month before Rojo did his cruciate. Of course it was still the lesser partnership, as the RoJones combo lasted for about three months before Jones injured himself.

According to my fairly reliable forecast it should be only light rain by 1pm and continue like that till 4pm.

And if we win? Is that on Ole too?

Christ, they're professional footballers who train to play every 3 days. Fair enough come April-May I'd be shuffling the pack if we were STILL playing every 3 days. But this idea players need to be rested in November is simply a myth and a sign of the times. People said Rashford was burnt out a few weeks ago and suddenly he's scored 4 in 3.

On top of that Rashford only got injured because he slid on his knees celebrating. I mean you couldn’t make it up but yeah....

I don't completely trust the resident weather reporters on the caf.

I'm gonna assume the game is off until Michael Fish says otherwise.

We placed Rashford's picture for the matchday image. I know it means nothing to say he will be available but surely we wouldn't use an injured player for it.

Ole should never be playing first teamers in carabao cup I’m quite annoyed. Happened when he was hired too and players fell apart after he played them every 2 days when we beat both Chelsea and Arsenal in the fa cup... they then fell apart in the game against Liverpool with 3 soft tissue injuries.

I live in Bournemouth currently and about a 15 minute drive away from the ground. The weather here really is rubbish at the moment and I would not be surprised one bit if the game does get called off. It was very wet and windy during the night, although it seems to have calmed down a little since then. If the game does go ahead, the conditions for it aren't going to be amazing.

Is that true? For years I have thought the slide on your knees celebration is an injury to happen. Sad if I was right.

If game gets cancelled, it won't be the worst thing I guess given how many injuries we have.

It's the first real time this season that we seem to have any semblance of momentum. Bournemouth like to pass the ball around, but they won't be able to do that with today's conditions. It will be a very scrappy game and I actually think that suits United a lot more.

Bournemouth will be the ones more likely to want the game off. I think it will still go ahead, unless the conditions worsen. Given how it was during the night and comparing it to now, it is somewhat of an improvement. We don't really want the hassle of having to rearrange fixtures, especially during the busy mid-season where we have cup ties to factor in, too.

I’m 5 mins away from the stadium, rain has died down now and not very windy. We need to keep this run going no matter what. Grind out a 2-1 win.

One if you isn't being entirely truthful. Which one is it?

I may have played too much WereWolf lately.

Not only is the CAF an expert on how the club should be run , they also are weather experts even though they has been nothing to suggest there will be a pitch inspection.

We're both saying the same thing.
It was crap during the night, very wet and windy. The ground will be very wet and there's still some wind, but it has eased off over the last few hours.

All depends on what condition the pitch is in. I don't think the weather will worsen, so I think it'll go ahead on that condition.

Yes fixture pile up is the downside to it, along with we being on decent run. Although I never truly feel confident in our team even when we get wins, I feel like bad performance is always around. Let's see. If it goes through, hopefully we have Maguire, Lindelof and Rashford available and can play same team as the one against Norwich.

If we're without Maguire and Rashford we'll struggle to defend and score. If the injuries aren't as bad as feared, I think we'll nick it 2:1.

You weren't saying the same thing at all :p

In any case, I hope you're right and the game goes ahead. Fixture pileup is the last thing we need given our lack of squad depth.

why can’t the weather be different in 2 locations 20 minutes apart? Is a 7 minute drive to work for me and be pissing down at work n sunny at accommodation camp.
