I think we will have the same XI as the Norwich one. Not complain with that.

I think we have a good chance to win, Howe doesn't have a good record against top 6 team. He's a naive manager when against top 6 always going to attack. We are very good when we play counter as well so this away game might suit us more.

Hoping Williams gets another start. We low key just found what could be a fantastic LB for the club in the middle of the season at 19 years old.

These kind of players tend to do well. Low key, less fan pressure.

He isn't a player that the fans are raving about like Greenwood, Gomes, Garner and is probably the one out of the kids who will get most appearances.

We saw Rashford, McT both come in the same way.

Huge game. Our form/performances have been much better since the international break which came at the perfect time it seems. Will be a close game as Bournemouth are no mugs, especially at home, but one that I’m confident we will win.

    De Gea

    Wan-Bissaka
    Lindelof
    Maguire
    Young

    McTominay
    Fred

    James
    Pereira
    Rashford

    Martial

    subs:
    Romero
    Rojo
    Williams
    Garner
    Lingard
    Mata
    Greenwood

    Score Prediction:
    Bournemouth 2-3 Manchester United

I’m quite annoyed with Ole being so naive playing that many first teamers in the carabao cup 2 days after we played and scheduled to play Bournemouth in another 2 days. Did same thing last season overplayed them in the fa cup and we ended up losing 4 players in the league against Liverpool and psg. I said Wednesday if we lost to Bournemouth due to fatigue or injuries, this one was on Ole.

We've got Partizan at home after Bournemouth, don't we? I'd blame him for starting first-teamers there, not vs Chelsea away.

This is how Pogba got injured ? Played him 90mins v Rochdale.

Can this be our 4th win in a row?
    I think it's likely.

This will be difficult. Bournemouth have had a full week to prepare since last Saturday while we've been away Sunday and Wednesday.

Think everyone is going to make it, so hopefully this:

    de Gea
    Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Young
    Andreas McTominay Fred
    James Martial Rashford
    ---
Romero; Rojo, Williams; Garner, Mata, Lingard; Greenwood
It's probably the strongest side we can field right now. The bench is a decent mix of youth and experience and it looks rather good despite missing 2-3 pretty big players for us.

Bournemouth have been a bit strange in recent weeks, as they have looked a bit more defensively sturdy but have lost some impetus in attack as well. Hopefully, it's the Bournemouth that likes to come out that we face and we can manage a goal or two on the counter.

    Bournemouth 1-2 Man Utd

Problem for Ole is he needs to win every game, the pressure mounts every time we fail to win, or play badly. Second problem is we have a thin squad, he NEEDS his best players, in every game. He cannot take any chances.

Fans say he should rest players, but if he does and we lose, they say they want him sacked. The only chance he has is to play his strongest team in every game and hope they make it.

With Martial back, Rashford in goal scoring form again, we are going to manage an easy win I feel.

Far too much confidence in here, I dont like it :nervous:

And if we win? Is that on Ole too?

Christ, they're professional footballers who train to play every 3 days. Fair enough come April-May I'd be shuffling the pack if we were STILL playing every 3 days. But this idea players need to be rested in November is simply a myth and a sign of the times. People said Rashford was burnt out a few weeks ago and suddenly he's scored 4 in 3.

Ugh Rojones again? I’m convinced it doesn’t matter how many defenders we sign, we’d still somehow end up playing those 2 at some point every season.

Me neither. A poor performance and we will be back where we were 3 weeks ago.

Reminds me of last season where we were so crap and then we went away to Juve and stole a win and thought maybe we turn things around but never managed to.

Reckon we will not win this one. A draw at best. People have already forgot how dire we were recently and a win against Belgrade, one against Chelsea B team can't hide that we were horrible not so long ago.

Hope that we will continue to be solid, but I doubt it.

My team, considering all the injured out (horrible line up btw)

    --------------------------De Gea-------------------------
    Wan Bissaka------Jones--------Rojo--------------Young
    ---------------Mc Tominay------Fred--------------------
    Pereira-------------------Lingard-------------------James
    ---------------------------Martial--------------------------

Unrealistic. Our defense is to good to concede 3.

I'd put money on them scoring at least two even if we were at full strength if we play like we have in the last few games, and there is the possibility Maguire, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Shaw and Dalot will all be missing so conceding three is far from unrealistic, as long as we score one more than them who cares.

if we decide to attack and actually have shots at goal, we might win this. I am not confident that that is the game plan. if we sit back and invite pressure, we'll lose

Bournemouth is the kind of team where we really should play defensively. Their biggest strength are the pace of King, Wilson, Fraser and Wilson. But I don't particularly fear them in open play and on set-pieces.

Interesting thread, for those that think Bournemouth will just attack us. Seems they've being a bit reserved and haven't being at their attacking best this season.

I think there is a chance this could be postponed, 70 mph winds whilst we are playing!

I thought that was Baily and Rojo ? I remember Rojo being excellent at CB for us for nearly half a season bar two footing people every 3 games or so
That's was a funny stretch. Never got sent off during that spell from what I remember?

Its weird, you know the 'Mandela Theoery' shit where people remember things vividly that didnt exist? One that north Americans mention a lot (I have lots of Canadian mates), is to do with some kids books about bears where everyone remembers the name differently to what it actually was.

Bailly-Rojo played together maybe once. It was mainly Jones and Rojo that looked a solid enough pairing (compared to what we were used to since the good ol' days), but somehow it became a 'thing' that they were a proper partnership.
