  That team should be good enough to beat Bournemouth. Call that arrogant if you will, but there you go.
  
  We sacked Van Gaal because his management wasn't good enough. Part of that was not getting the players at his disposal reaching their full potential.
  
  If Mourinho is going to improve on that, then he has to. Ibramahimovic, Mata, Herrera, and yes, even Rooney and Fellaini, are all good to great. And we have options off the bench. It's enough to win away to a team who will have mid-table ambitions at best.
  
  If we don't win, it's not the end of the world, because Rome wasn't built in a day. But we still have a lot of quality out there today, and we need to remember that.

  I see the pessimism is still rife in here. Opening day of the season away to a side we got beat by last season, I'm not surprised by the selection. We're looking to ride out the first 30 mins as they'll be up for it, as will the crowd. Mkhitaryan and Rashford will come on in the 2nd half and we'll look to the stretch them.

  I think with Bournemoth being a rather short/small team Fellaini is a good option.

  Also, Mourinho has a fancy for slowing down the tempo in first half and then breaking the opposition physically in the second.

  Should just get used to that under Mourinho aswell as he remains our captain, and how many times hasn't Mourinho expressed his love for Rooney? I'm more concerned about Fellaini in the midfield tbh...
