    We're playing really well and should be really winning. Think Garnacho could be really a pain in the ass for them if he comes on in the second half. WW isn't really doing it for me.
     
    Just got the feeling we'll come away with a 1-0 defeat, but I'm happy with how we've played thus far. If this Barcelona side are on their way to becoming the real deal, then so are we.
     
    I feel like Barcelona are so used to getting away with stuff and their opponents not fighting back, that they don't know what to do.

    The team isn’t playing as well as it should against this opposition. It is down to those players. We are not feeling the impact of their lack of composure too much because Barcelona are even more wank while in possession.

    Also, I'm very impressed with Xavi. He came in a time we most thought Barca was going to go through a wilderness, but they have come leaps and bounds from Koeman and Co.

    Still, now I'm fully thinking we should be able to do these over the 2 games.
     
    We've gifted them some chances but other than that we've been very good. Should be 1-0 up. If we keep up the pressure we might nick this.

    Don't be a bitch. Nobody's "turned" on anyone. Sancho needs to prove he belongs at this level. He still can, but I'm not convinced by what I've seen so far. That's it.

    Who says I don’t? In this thread alone I’ve been very critical of Weghorst and the need for a proper number 9 in the summer. That said, DDG for me should be replaced in the next couple of seasons.. sorry if that’s an opinion you don’t agree with.

    He's made total of 7 passes in first half. He doesn't deserve much criticism because he's played a lot recently, but he's been nowhere near good tonight.
     
    I think we can more than live with their pass, pass, pass boll*cks if we get more composure infield. Wout off for garnacho, Sancho out right, rashford and Fernandes central

    I haven't turned on Sancho. I just want to understand what the problem is because there is a top player who seems far too afraid to show his full ability. Too afraid of making a mistake.
     
    Erik has done amazingly well with the tactics. We have a few really poor players and are still holding on. AWB and Weghorst are just amazingly shite, no chance both of them stay on the pitch for long.
     
    Think the Sancho criticism is a little over the top too. He's not been too involved but involved in the Rashford chance (even if the pass was for Fred) and done fine defensively. Fluid enough that he can switch sides with Bruno at times too.
     
    This is going much better than I thought it would. We're playing well and should be winning.

    ETH has worked miracles.
     
    AWB has to be a hell of a lot smarter than that....you don't let a ball run across your box without getting a touch on it. That is simple POFTB tactics so you always remain in control of the ball. He nearly cost us a goal for behind dumb.

    Defensively it makes sense having him playing in this match though simply bc we will play a bit tighter on the road b/c it's the first leg
     
    Wasn’t expecting firework from Barca. We have shown that we can defend well as a team. Still, I was a bit scared after the first 10 minutes. They looked a mile better than us on the ball and easily found their way through us.

    But we have held up fine and created some big chances.

    That said, I still feel like Barca will show the class once pur energy starts to fade. Lewandowski only needs half a chance to score.

    We did the same to citeh, they hold the ball but we controlled the game
     
    Everyone has done well imo apart from Wout. Awb has been generally good but two dodgy moments. Weghorst just isn't up to this level unfortunately
