Before the game I’d have happily taken a 2-2 draw, shame we missed some open chances particularly at the end of the first half, but we ran our socks off and looked vulnerable in the last 30 minutes so all in all a good result.

What a pleasure as a United fan to be watching games like that again! Could have had 5 away to Barca. Look at the belief there! 2 poor goals to give away but delighted with that. Fred tremendous that half. I hope everyone just shuts the feck up for a few days and gives credit where it's due. We can spend our lives wishing for the Pedro's, Gavis, de Jongs of this world. This is what we've got, Fred, AWB, Wout, Malacia, whatever. Look at what they're capable of. Let's just enjoy what's happening here.

Shows how far we have come that you feel disappointed at a draw in the Nou Camp against the La Liga leaders. But we should have won this. Poor defensively for the goals which were avoidable. But not enough is made of the foul on Rashford when he was in on goal. Free kick and red card every day of the week.

That's why I'm excited to watch this duel, although I don't care about the Europa League much. The top priority is to win LaLiga and then take the Copa for the spanish double.

Think tonight was an indictment of the strength of the league personally. Barcelona totally dominant to the point where they have barely conceded a goal, but they were for large parts outclassed by a United team missing several key players at home. This is after them also failing to make it out of their group in the CL.

This is the advantage they have in one sense as even in ‘transition’, they are going to finish in the top 3. They will always play CL. For United, anything short of their best and they won’t make the top 4, which has a knock on effect around the mood and players we may be able to attract. Barcelona’s lean spell looks different to ours due to the strength of their league. Their real level is always measured in Europe, and they have fallen short this season.
