La Liga's steady decline is on show here - this team is comfortably top and has collected more points than Pep's Barca had in the same amount of games in charge. People on here love shitting on our own players on a consistent basis didn't you know?I know this is a weakish Barca side but so refreshing to see a United manager be so proactive tactically and switch things up i.e. moving Rashford up front to escape Araujo etc.After first 15-20 minutes I thought there's no chance we're getting through. After that it was quite good.
Rashford took a better shot from much more difficult position than Weghorst's. Shame about those 2 chances.
they’re not used to having to play early kick-offs on a thursday night, whereas we’ve spent years honing our craft. i expect them to be better in the second half.Don't think AWB has been poor actually. Mixed yes, but he's delivered some fairly key offensive contributions. First when he released Bruno down the right with a wonderful deep pass, then when he overlapped and got a good cut-back in. Couple of bad defensive lapses though. Struggling a bit with Barcelonas pressing, but so is almost everyone else.
Sancho on the other hand, awful half. Just looks well out of it.Surprised people are knocking AWB I thought he’d had a pretty good game so far.
So much more potent in attack than he used to be and of course he’s making excellent tackles in defence.- Status
