    There’s the problem though, we don’t take the chances. Rashford is not a natural finisher, I don’t care what anyone says.
     
    Rashford cross bar - goal instead = 1-0
    McTominay better touch - possible goal = 2-0
    Barcelona sh1t themselves as a result
    Sit back and counter - another away goal maybe, they score as well = 3-1 on the night and we go wild

    Everything though went against us. Including Ole persisting with Ashley Young. Not saying someone else wouldn't have made a stupid error in the 90, but there is massive precedent with Ashley and his wastefulness and woefulness. Captain or not, I'm sorry. There comes a time.

    You would think Dalot is a prime Dennis Irwin the way he's being talked about. Young made a mistake, Dalot's looked suspect defensively all season. Playing him would have made next to no difference to us.

    It would far exceed Turin: 2-2 would have been enough there and we were already level at half-time.
     
    Why all the hate for our players. We played really well and then we make stupid errors.

    We don't look poor for most part although confidence and momentum was with Barca near the end. Hopefully we can push for some goals in the second half. One goal in and we still got a chance.

    Ole was the one taking the plaudits during the winning streak. It’s only fair that he takes the criticism during this period of utterly shit performances.

    We have far too many players for the wrong positions, and at least 6 who aren’t good enough. None of those are Ole’s signings

    I get that but I just don’t see what the point is of moaning at one of our better performers on the night. There’s so much more that’s actually worth the typing effort!

    The second goal killed us. At 1-0 you never know, if we get one back and there’s some momentum. 2-0 and it’s over, and the nature of the goal really deflated us. We’re just full of mistakes all the time, all over the pitch.
     
    2 full backs have to be a priority for the summer.

    Even the likes of Jones will look better with a competent right back.

    Pogba is better for France than Messi is for Argentina. Club level..nope.

    Pogba is frustrated that people around him cant match his quality. If only Pogba could match his own quality with his workrate.

    We actually need to. If this makes Woodward come to his senses and stop reeling out statements like "There won't be a major churn of players every summer", then I will swallow this defeat for the greater good. We need atleast 6 players out and 6 new ones in.
     
    Ole has to change this at HT. We offer nothing down the right and how many Barca attacks have been stopped near the half-way line? In game management so far seems to be keep doing what you're doing.

    Really, 90% of the players in the squad doesn't the support or defense some here are giving them. Worst period in United modern era.
     
    Bring lukaku play him on the right for Lingard. We are playing 'better' than i thought we would as was expecting an hammering. We need to play how we started on the front foot. Close down quicker, dont give them chance to playout from the back. Alba is getting way too much space as well.

    What a disappointing game, especially after that 5mins start!

    Panning out how we all knew it easily could in our heads.

    Have to go all out for 5-10mins in the second half and try and get one, and hope it builds momentum. Stranger things have happened.
     
    Would not give a feck if Ole cleared out every single player from the squad. Need players with ability and some pride and fight in them. We have players with ability and no fight, and players with a little bit of fight and no ability. Sick and tired of watching us struggle against big teams.
     
    We're losing this tie entirely due to our own defensive incompetence. It's so, so disappointing.

    Messi aside, this Barca team are nothing special.

    Liverpool will absolutely slaughter them in the next round.
