I think it took Atalanta out of their shape abit which then created the opportunity.

Loved Bruno though.Bruno playing like a false 9 on the goal there. Always had a feeling he would suit that role in a Klopp type system.

And we are what?that was a nicely worked goal. the type of goal that makes you think wow imagine if we had a quality coach that worked on attacking patterns of play and emphasized movement around the box. I expect Atalanta to come out and regain momentum, take the lead only to give up another late goal by some moment of magic.Cavani was warming up hard, but not sure how you get him on, unless Rashford is only set to play 50-odd minutes. Bruno and Ronaldo aren’t coming off, and Greenwood has just come on.

I was dreading the second half before the goal as we couldn't take the ball off of them. Ilicic and Zapata have been brilliant at holding the ball, whereas Ronaldo and Rashford haven't.
But the goal was a glorious one. Mason's vision and Bruno's awareness was top notch. Shows what we can do when the attackers stop taking unnecessary touches and just go for it. Now that Atalanta has to come at us again I'm feeling much more confident.
Shoutout to Bailly as he's been at his aggressive best. He wasn't at fault for the equalizer, he received the ball while surrounded by four opponents who all anticipated the pass and the entire back five and Kante were behind him.
