Yes, if you only count the last 2 passes it was pure individual brilliance. If City or PSG score that, people would be jizzing their pants over it.
But it's Utd so no matter how many players were involved in the build up, it all boils down to individual brilliance...Good to see having a coherent midfield shape lasted all of one game, back to a double a pivot with bruno roaming and pogba constantly giving the ball away meaning no control.
Lovely goal thats what we are capable off with our forward players, if only we could garner midfield control and keep getting the ball in to those areas for our forward players to work with.

Wingbacks and midfield were too deep (not marking anyone) Rashford too wide (partly due to the wingbacks) and Ronaldo isolated. All it needed was 10 paces forward for the 2 WBs, Pogba and McT.

Man for man, we should be smashing Atalanta. We struggle against any half-decent opposition. Every win is an epic battle. We play in spurts and moments and the entire team bar a few players seem to be doubting themselves.
Ronaldo deserves better.
What's worse for me is that he started ok, made some good passes and a tackle.
