Looks like the Rashford half time sub had the right effect as he is tracking back, getting in and attempting to win the ball back. Playing well. We look so much more compact as well.

Good 45 minutes by Maguire and Evans. They have been so much better than De Ligt and Martinez last time. In fact the first half from Evans is one of the best by a United players this season so far.

Once again the only reason we have any foothold in a game of football is because Eriksen is on the pitch and doing okay. But he'll be knackered second half. Mazraoui and Dalot also being very aggressive which wont last.

Feel like Emery will make a few changes in the second half that will make Villa more effective and ETH won’t know how to respond.

We’ve been much more compact and solid defensively this game but Villa also seem to be below their normal standard. And offensively we are our usual terrible selves.

Bruno, Mainoo and Garnacho all need to come off. Hojlund has been bad too but not sure if Zirkzee coming on is any better. Get in Casemiro, Ugarte and move Eriksen to Bruno's position and Amad for Garnacho.

We've been very solid. Evans and Eriksen have been our best two players.

In an attacking sense, we've been awful. It's a bland and muddy game in that respect. From both sides.
