We were rivals in the first Premier League season (92-93). It was pretty much neck and neck, through the second half of the season, until we pulled away in the last few games.
I remember at the time, some of the Villa players saying that if Dalian Atkinson hadn’t had an injury, in the run in,-that they thought they would have won.
