Unfortunately de gea cops the blane for the goal. It was coming, especially with the sudden burst of speed from benteke to deliver the ball with his left. Didnt help that he expected benteke to shoot with his left as evidenced by his positioning. More worrying is that weve been playing zombie football once we go behind. Midfield has no bite apart from rooney and the attack is isolated.We're missing either a Fellaini or a Herrera in there. There's no real bite, and we are getting clattered by Villa's bigger boys. Rooney needs to be doing that in their absence, but he's playing what looks to be a very safe role. Probably because he's got a very frail looking Fletcher next to him.Getting Fletcher off is all we need to do for now. He is in the key position on the field and has been abysmal. His touch has been atrocious, he is playing slowly and negatively and Delph/Villa are going past him like hes not there.
Get ADM on and move Carrick up into the middle.Our build up play is very slow, it is taking an age to get the ball up into the danger areas ,need to add some urgency to our game.

We had like 70 % possession and created f all, whats that got to do with our midfielders missing, we have so many attacking players on the pitch from the defense upwards and creating naff all, there's more to it than missing midfielders, because its not like villa are controlling the midfield there just sitting back.They said he was a stubborn hit, I didn't believe. Except that we shouldn't be playing with a front 3. We have Falcao and Persie who are top class strikers. Mata should be stepping up to playmake, not act as a striker. This is why he's such a passenger; he's diabolically passive and invisible in build up contribution.

People are bashing Evans by deafult. Not his fault by any means but he's guilty of absolutely everything...3-5-2 is difficult enough when Herrera and Fellaini are available in MF, why on earth are we using it again with the MF wide open? We're playing in slow motion because we're afraid of turning over the ball and leaving ourselves exposed to a counter, knowing that the backs are exposed.
With Fletcher negotiating things in the middle, we have no pace or service to RVP and Falcao at all. Mata has moved the ball decently, but he is so physically lacking that he's getting easily knocked off of it. Young and Valencia have been alright, nothing great.
Fletcher and Evans simply have to go in the transfer window. Almost every other time Evans is tested, he fails. There's no use trying to sort out what his problems are because he's too far gone at this point to be a United player.

In the last few games too it's been like that, we hardly "attack" and create chances. Goes missing when he's needed the most. We are desperate for someone to link the play up and he's nowhere to be seen.
