It might be the best game for Fletch to play this game. If it had been the other Christmas games he might have had a problem. A good game will do wonders for his confidence.

The only proper way to set up vs. a 3/5/2 is by using a 3/5/2 yourself. So that´s good for Aston Villa, now the question is, have they played that formation before? Or have they just been preparing this week, then we have an edge. And we can also easily switch it up at the back with Carrick into midfield and all.

Also if Villa plays with three at the back they will most likely not be good in posession. Meaning we can keep the ball, let them drop deep and defend with all they've got. All we need is one or two goals, and they're fecked. Hope Fletcher does well and we better win this one. I'm so exited I can't even string a normal sentence together.
