Neville is completely right in everything he says. We need to change things up in cm or we're screwed. Why can he see it and not Giggs and van Gaal? We are getting dominated and this won't end well if we don't make changes and quickly. Get Rooney off, he's been a liability and get on Schneiderlin and Herrera if he's on the bench for Carrick. Christ, it's not that hard to see.

Fergie had the perfect tactics against the gooners. Sit back, absorb pressure/frustrate them by giving them no space for at least 15/20 minutes in the first half and counter attack them. Also involved us playing more physical and putting in some strong challenges.

This was really naïve tactically from LVG.

Wenger is now playing us at our own game.

Arsenal won't have an easier game all season, this is an absolute horror show and arsenal will get at least five. We don't even have much on the bench to make a difference and our tactics have been pathetic right from the kick off.
Jones, Fellaini and Schneidy would make an enormous difference.

I'm not embarassed but if I was playing I would be.

Don't ever remember thinking I hope we make it in at HT 3-0 down.

They have setup well to hit us on the break and just want it more. Their players are going into challenges and tracking back, working for the ball more than us.

We've had so much possession in the last 10 minutes.

We'll be fine irrespective of this awful result.

Have no doubts that we will turn them over at OT.

We have just been awful away from home, especially against teams that are aggressive and pacy.

Really naïve tactics today when everyone knows to keep it tight for first half against the gooners and they will naturally get frustrated.

TBF singling out Rooney is a little unfair. I mean pretty much every single player has looked absolutely crap.

Just sums up the managers inaction for me

He's far too slow to change anything He should recognise Rooneys form, he should recognise player tiredness, he should recognise he's not found a silver bullet tactic and change our tactics to the opponent.
    /end rant

Put Young on left wing, Sub Memphis and put Darmian at LB, put Valencia at RB.

Sneiderlin on for Carrick and see if we can control the damage.

We need to press higher in this game, we need to force Arsenal to have to play long and negate their high ball speed 1 touch interchanges

Hopefully this is a tale of two halfs, i wouldn't bet any money on it though.

We need to run at them in the box, force a clearance to corner, freekick, peno. We can pass the ball until next year and not score.

Almost a lifeline for United. Martial does brilliantly in the box to hold off Mertesacker, flick the ball up and turn but his shot is saved at close range by Cech's leg.

    Feck, inlucky Martial.
