Little harsh on AWB - I’d move him up a 6 and Lindelof down to a 5. Eriksen a 6 as, harsh though it is as it isn’t really his game, he had to pick up Odegaard.

A test now if it's going to be Tottenham over again, where we were decent first half, but lost it in the second.

Antony was at fault for Arsenal goal. No mans land while pressing and it became 2v1 against AWB. Small error but right after restart it gave the momentum away. Dalot has been good defensively but poor guy has a weak left foot that just kills anything going forward.

Eriksen been important once again and shows why we dont do as well when he is not around. A little more quicker when we get ball in midfield can really improve our performance. Everything seems so calculated even after we go up ahead till Antony.

A lot of passes between the keeper and the CBs tbh. Our midfield is dead food though

Yeah, that seems to be the crux of it. Great to see that Onana is confident on the ball, but it's weird as feck to see a goalkeeper more confident with the ball at their feet than the midfield. It should be the one thing the midfield is good at.

I'm scared that this has been our customary "good" half, and the next one will be like at Spurs.

And it wasn't even that good.

Old flaws on display. Despite Gary Nev going on with himself, I had no problem with us not making much in the first 25 minutes. We kept it tight, only gave away a couple of half chances and got our passing going. Didn't look uncertain. Got a goal with our first chance - only to lose concentration yet again and throw it away.

We just have a fragility away from home that's hard to put your finger on, given that transition play has actually been a strength for us.

To be fair, we saw out the half ok without major drama. But seeing out that spell after scoring and going in at 1-0 for half time would have been a very different story.

Martial has been abject. Properly like playing without a striker. Rashford hasn't played well, but scored a banger so at least contributed. Antony got a lot of touches and did nothing with them.

Midfield and defense were alright in general. Onana really does change how we play at the back, just a shame we don't have the forwards to match.

Still feel like this game is there to win. Also feel like we could collapse at any time. Hope to see a few minutes of Hojland up front, he really can't be worse than Martial.
It would be nice if, just for a change, we started fast

Ok first half. Looked like early 90's italian football. No team want to lose.

Bissaka needs to get his positioning right. Eriksen and Dalot have been great. Onana gives me gray hair, on top of gray hair. I hope that passing between goalkeeper and defenders doesn't make us regret after game today.

Oh sorry. I must be watching a different game.

In your game is he beating his man occasionally and whipping a tasty cross into the box? Or is he cutting in side and trying to curl a left into the bottom corner?
    You must be, yeah.

What's worse? Conceding in the first minute or conceding 1 minute after taking the lead?

Anyways, it's frustrating, but Arsenal are genuinely one of the best teams in the world right now, so it's somewhat "fine".

Bruno amid leaving a lot for Eriksen to do defensively, and then he undies the hood work with a sloppy pass to no one. 1 or 2 areas we are being outplayed in, but it’s not a mauling.

I am one of the "I told you so" about his renewal. He was one of the best u21 of his generation, but he just didn't became good enough.
A 5+1 year contract extension, based on him playing reasonably well for just a couple of months, was absolutely insane. One of the recent decisions that made me think that nothing has really improved in that department.

And there were some saying they wouldn't take £100m for Bruno. Are you kidding me? I'd bite your hand off for that.
He’s not playing well and we barely create a chance.
Let’s take him out and have more of this. Fantastic

Thanks for that. That's very interesting to see. Basically, the further forward the ball goes, the further things start to break down. We need more movement from the attackers and the midfield to receive the passers, and we need to keep the ball better in their half.

Another shit half by Bruno, but in a few days when everything is forgotten, there will be bloodhounds in his performance thread blasting everyone who criticise him saying how we can't play without him and that he is the best thing that has ever happened since SAF.

This is the only approach when you have a front four as static and shit with the ball as ours

also the case when arsenal set up defensively like they have putting a lot of players in the middle of the pitch to clog it up and make us use dalot and AWB as our possession outlets

I don't really get the negative framing of a tweet like this. I think it should be expected that Arsenal would spend more time in our half than we do in theirs. If we weren't showing patience and a willingness to play out of the back, we'd end up just turning the ball over and camped in our half for the entire 45.

Defended well apart from switching off when we took the lead. Onana is very busy passing the ball about, hes no Degea at saves though.
Dalot played well, Erikson also played well apart from loosing the runner for the equaliser. Superb finish by Rashford. Excited to see Hojlund on.

You put Amrabat next to Casemiro and their goal doesn’t happen. You put Hojlund up front and we’re a different team. Watch and see.

Seems like a sensible approach for tough away games. Of course you'd like to see us be better at progressing up the pitch with possession but in general I'm happy to see us keep the ball more even if it's a bit inert.

He’s anonymous in almost every away game yet some still think he’s good enough
