    If ETH can just invent a strategy that gets the ball into the final 3rd. It would be groundbreaking.
     
    Think our gameplan is quite clear - draw Arsenal out and then try to hit it up to our forwards. The problem with that is our service to the forwards have not been good and our forwards are not making runs in behind.
     
    Martial can't come out in the second half.

    Not really, the slow possession at the back has helped limit Arsenals opportunties, and had they been awake after the goal the tactics would have been very successful, if dull as dishwater.

    This. I don’t blame him in one sense. He’s injured so often it must play on his mind and cause hesitancy and caution. But those aren’t the attributes you want to have in your players. Hojlund needs to be brought on at HT.
     
    Our defending is laughable at times. The goals we concede really are unacceptable at the highest level. We have not played well. However, we have a game plan. We managed to get ahead and then throw away a lead in 35 seconds. Poor.
     
    Not a bad half, although lots of passing in the back.

    Id take a draw at this stage because arteta will change things at half time. Could be spurs all over again.

    Working well out of possession, not doing enough in possession.

    But a draw would be a good result for today, especially given the amount of players we have unavailable. So 1-1 fine so far.

    It’s bizarre. The play out from keeper and back 4 has looked well organised and drilled. Arsenal haven’t been able to break it or disrupt it at all. But once we do get it out we simply aren’t able to progress the ball. I don’t even know what to change about this team - seems like too much to fix.
     
    I must be watching a different game to some of you. Antony (along with Eriksen) have been our best performers this half.

    Martial is useless though, just get him over to Heathrow now on the next flight to Saudi and bring on the young Dane second half. At least he'd fight for every ball.
     
    United taking the sting out of the game completely with our overnight ability or play about the back. Arsenal are too scared now to press or they’re leaving space for us to run into

    We've done pretty well. Onana is a real difference maker in terms of keeping possession.

    Will have this result at HT but my word are we living dangerously at times when on the rare occasions they attack in numbers.

    Well we tried to bore Arsenal to death for 30 minutes, then great play from Eriksen and Rashford for the goal. Pegged back right away and now we're in the game at half time. So could be worse, but not very good to watch and just 1 or 2 moments where we looked like we could get a good shot on goal
