One of those games where we are either going to get battered comfortably or we will catch them on the break and hold out somehow.

Lindelof pass over the top to Rashford, Rashford smash in net.

    Onana
    Bissaka-Lindelof-Martinez-Dalot
    Casemiro-Erikson
    Bruno
    left foot only-Martial-Rashford

I really think that if we play this side, it'll be 4-0 maybe more.

The problem isn't Dalot. We rely on our left side to create opportunities for Rashford which will clash with Arteta's strong right side. In that sense, the problem is that it will be Saka/Odegaard/Partey (White) against Dalot/Eriksen/Rashford in a game where Arsenal will have - at certain points- close to 60-70% possession. We'll need all the luck we can get. Hopefully, it seems Arsenal also have a slow start to their season.

Have to get that balance... I think we should go and play, Erickson is an important player for us, our best ball-pllayer. He gives us a sense of rhythm and game-management... when, when we are organised!!! But he needs players around him, and a front three that provides lots of movement. Can we deliver that?

We'll have to see... Be good to see Rasmus,, just want him to work hard and play with good energy. I'm looking forward to the game.

Hoping Casemiro brings his A game after the standard few games it seemingly takes to find his form. We’ll need it

If he doesn’t…and with Eriksen lightweight and Bruno carelessly giving the ball away… I’m worried about this one

That’s without even thinking about missing Varane and Shaw

Mount, Sancho McT aren’t really a big miss.

shame Amrabat isn’t registered but that says more about our transfer activity.

Will be good to see hojlund. Doubt he’ll start though. Here’s hoping he has a Rooney like debut and takes quickly to the EPL

All our players need to be on point not to lose this one.
Our recent record at the Emirates is a tragedy. When last did we win there…2014/15?

2017 which Jose where we scored 2 in first 8 mins

Struggling to see anything but an arsenal win unfortunately. Hoping we give a good account of ourselves and at least compete, our performances in the opening 3 games haven’t given me much cause for optimism.

Rasmus hattrick, 3-0, the caf descends into pure joy for an hour or two before the inevitable ‘when can a win be a loss’ thread pops up.

This is pretty much how I feel. It'd be great if we could somehow get 3 points before the international break but I think we've got too many injuries and lack any sort of form.

I wouldn’t be surprised if ETH throws Hojlund in from the start.

We're so bad without the ball this season, this could get nasty. I just hope we defend with some spirit, don't try to maintain too high a line and trust that we'll carve out a couple of good chances.

Unfortunately that's been our other main downfall this season - complete lack of clinical finishing.

    Predict a 4 or 5 goal thrashing.

If we get beat 4-0 or 5-0 today Ten Hag won't be here come Christmas.

Which match was the one where Lingard was moonwalking in the Emirates? That was such a good memory

This & Liverpool are the games I care about the most but considering our away form I am not very hopeful. With the international break coming up I would happily take a draw in this but I fear that we might get smashed

A half fit Højlund is better than a... half fit Martial.

Disagree, another thrashing will barely move the needle. Also, a new manager is a costly undertaking, so unlikely the Glazers will go down that route unless the wheels really come off, eg bottom half of table at Christmas.

There's a plausible timeline where we get thrashed today, but then our new signings bed in, fixtures get easier, and we're still in top 4 contention in the next month or so.

How have you become numb to this? We've won 2 of our first 3 games and the knives are already out, a 5-0 thrashing isn't going to be just forgotten about, "Ah well, maybe in 5 years time we'll win a game against the top 9 away from home, we can only dream I guess".

Everything surrounding the club will become toxic as feck if we get hammered today. You think people are going to be happy if we're beating Sheff United and Luton but getting hammered off the like of Arsenal? This is Manchester United you're talking about, not Fulham.

So Partey is out which is a nice bonus for us but it might force Arteta to play a proper formation.

He'll be under pressure but I don't think he'll be fired. Things have to get really bad for any chance of that to happen. I.e. Chelsea last year levels of bad.

    He won’t play today:

‘The squad number of our final deadline-day signing Amrabat will be revealed once his registration is completed following his loan move from Fiorentina.’

Mad, isn't it? Yet here we are. Don't get me wrong, I'll be fuming if we get battered but I do think things will pick up once we get Amrabat and Hojlund in and fixtures become easier.

I just don't think ETH will be under serious pressure if we're still picking up enough points.

Don’t see us getting anything today. A loss by 1 or 2 goals while giving them a fight and show some improvements would be a positive for me.

Not to target you specifically, but posts like these are always weird to me. On what world can a loss, regardless of the margin, be a positive? A loss is a loss.

The players need to be focused and avoid making stupid mistakes. Not so sure that'll happen. If we're on I'm positive we could get a result though

I know being a United fan is tough in the last 10 years but youre talking about Michael Jackson, not Lingard.
