We are playing well against a very good dangerous team.
can we keep up the energy levels in the next 45 minutes.
As well as AWB played in midweek his positioning on crosses is often poor and it cost us the equaliser. (Plus he was caught in possession which led to the Arsenal attack)

at some point id expect Fred and Garnacho to add some fresh legs at 65mintes.

Decent half from us. Great goal by Rashford obviously, but the goal we conceded was poor. Sloppy passing and poor awareness by Wan Bissaka when the ball comes in, something he's too often guilty of.

Yep. If they think this is a poor performance, then you suspect they won't ever get him at all.
It's like it's the mid 90s and they think he'll be a Kanchelskis.
It's not even about getting the type of player Antony is, he's just playing really well! Working hard defensively, megging everyone on Arsenal who comes at him, progressing the ball and linking up well... Whats worth complaining about

I'm bricking it here. I don't want us to lose to thiat mob, and definitely not to a team managed by that cnut Arteta.

How about the two pen incidents? the one around 5th min and in the 45th.
The first one wasn't it's Bruno looking for the contact. The second one they didn't play the replay so I'm not sure but since Eriksen really screamed for it I guess it was something there.

Their goal was so completely unnecessary. Arsenal are already getting to our 18 yard box at will but, the play short leading to the corner was just stupid. Sadly Wan Bissaka as well as he has been playing was undone by his biggest weakness, awareness when not directly defending the player with the ball.

Personally think Eriksen is too easily bypassed right now and we are not on the ball enough. Hope ETH doesn't wait till we are completely overrun before making the change.

And for goodness sake, Antony please just needs to make a good cross or pass.

I'm so disappointed with the goal we conceded as it was such an avoidable one. But then when I consider the facts-our 3 missing starters vs their 1, 3 days rest vs 7 and 6 months into a managerial tenure vs 3 years, we've given a good account for ourselves. I would've loved to see a full strength battle between the teams to gauge exactly how far we've come. Subs and the timing of them will be key here as I expect our typical second half fade away as Erisken tires and Arsenal become more desperate.

Also, Arteta is a clown. He spent the majority of the half outside the technical area. At least he was booked.

Haha they're making VAR look worse and worse every time hey change the rule. "We'll use it when we feel like it"

Unfortunately, the odds of them correcting the actual problem with VAR (the monkeys using it) are pretty slim.

Also Arteta has replaced Klopp as the most insufferable cnut manager in the league, hope he gets sent off.

No mention or replay on the possible penalty yet. If it’s at the other end it would have been the half-time debate

Best I've probably seen of Antony in a United shirt. Looks really sharp.

I still think we look a bit bare in the middle. I'd be looking to bring Fred on soon, simply because Arsenal are finding pockets of space in front of our defence.

Other than that, good games. Like the good old days when Arsenal v United used to go toe to toe.

Hoping for a strong second half.

How about the two pen incidents? the one around 5th min and in the 45th.
Why have they not shown the tackle on AWB?? We are not getting anything from this ref - as predicted we would t for a few games after the goal v city.

I do wonder where we would have been without Rashford. He's been in the form of his life and single handedly dragging us through games at time.
The team needs more attacking options.

We spent big on Antony and Sancho and so far they've not performed.

Great competitive game, we’re doing well but I worry about passing it back to DDG when Nketiah and Saka are constantly lurking and waiting to pounce. Arsenal so far strangled the mid field and left supply wing. Unfortunately we’ve got the Awb of old playing this evening.

Haha they're making VAR look worse and worse every time hey change the rule. "We'll use it when we feel like it"

I kind of get it though, I feel VAR should just be running in the background and not being front and center of most decisions. Also note they have started flagging offsides sooner rather than letting it go.

Really poor goal to concede especially considering we were on a lead.

We’re 1-0 up and getting pressed - just go long to our 6 foot 6 striker and win the second ball. Passing it around the back and then conceding a corner which they score from - it’s our own undoing, which is what irks me.

Yeah Erik will have serious words about that

I’m in the US watching both the NBC and Telemundo broadcasts at the same time. The NBC commentators are drooling over Arsenal while Telemundo commentators are more impressed by United.
Dixon is covering it on NBC I think

Keep things as they are for the first 25mins, then go all out from the 70th min mark, otherwise we may aswell forget a title push. A draw does us no favours and a loss isn't going to hurt our top 4 chances in the grand scheme of it all atm. Hopefully ETH thinks the same.
Great first half generally speaking though.

Is it just me or does it seem like we are 30/70 on any loose ball, 50/50 challenge or 2nd ball? We always somehow come off facing a midfield counter from one of these variants. This has happened for a few years now.

What a fecking goal by Rashford before Wan Bissaka gets caught out at the far post again ffs. Great one on one defender but gets caught so many times there.

We’re doing well though, need to keep up the press and the threat on the counter. Think Garnacho and Fred can play big roles yet.
