While Pereira is not good enough he’s at least a footballer and has presence in the midfield, we’ll be slaughtered with Lingard and Matic midfield. Very stupid.
I agree. The only thing Lingard does better than Pereira is running with the ball, and he is not very good at it.

Everything else, passing, crossing, pressing, Pereira is much better than Lingard.

Both need to be replaced. Feck, our squad is shite.

Greenwood scores in almost every game he plays.

    "My James shall always start."
We need pace. It’s the right choice if they play high full backs. If they defend low, we will put Greenwood. We need game changers too, otherwise if we can’t change what do we do? We can’t always put our best team straight away to have a chance to win.

Don't care what's going on with Pogba either way. Just hope that Ole is being straight and not giving out any BS.

But we have to deal with the job in hand now and that is smashing those Gooners. The thought of how giddy they'll be if they win is doing my head in. At least we have options off the bench. Arsenal's defence looks really ropey and they've got Pepe starting. Looks like they're going all out attack.

After seeing the line ups think Man. United will comfortably win this.

Could be similar to FA cup game, Arsenal being picked off on the break.

    1-3 again.

It’s obvious we need to hit them on the break, like the City game where Lingard was class.
If we can hit them quick with our front 4 creating good movement we will batter them, let’s hope we can do that.

Lingard and best lineup in the same sentence? You joking? Pereira while not perfect at least has something to offer.

Did you even watch the City and Spurs games. You might not like it’s but Lingard was effective in both. His pace will help against high pressing teams.

The problem isn’t Pogba not playing, it’s all the media hype surrounding it. It’s massively distracting for the management and players.

I fancied us to win tonight with or without Pogba but I’m concerned about how we’ll respond now and the added pressure it brings.

Our disappointing side aside, the truth is - the only player on Arsenal side who is not utter trash is Aubemayang. AWB and our CBs need to immobilize him. A lot depends on how well our defense plays. Would have still wished to see Williams instead of that flop Luke Shaw, so we could have had more tooth in the attack.

Yeah, he can't excatly say "feck him, we're selling his sorry ass" if we want someone to pay up some cash for him.

The injury shit is always gonna be a good excuse for a player wanting out.

I don't buy it at all.

Fergie was right all along. Raiola took all our money while Pogba sabotaged the previous manager and is trying his best to sabotage this one. If it not were for Ole's status at the club, he might have succeeded.

He's our best player individually and the most toxic part of the squad. I hope he's sold soon.

Already a scapegoat if we lose then.

I think he is gone this time, sounds very much like his comments just before Alexis went to Inter. Make no mistake Mino could be putting the wheels in motion as we speak.

I am gutted he has taken Gomes & Chong but decided to not put either on the bench.

If Ole is being honest about Pogba then our medical team is worse than I thought and I had very low expectations of them.

Arsenal fielding a strong line up. This could be a turning point for them. Depends on which United turns up. Tricky game this.

Arsenal is going to press high, this is a good use of Lingards pace.
I think you are a fantastic poster on this forum and I always enjoy reading what you have to say, but sometimes I think you are Ole in disguise.

Been defending Pogba consistently but even my bullshit meter is starting to go off a bit now.
He is an idiot. He thinks we are idiots and keep believing his bs?? Feck off Ole and say the truth

Whatever happens this isn't good news.

    He's either;

    Refusing to play.

Ankle is injured again even after he thought it was OK

Potential transfer lined up and he might be leaving

    Fallen out with Ole/club.

I just don't know what to think right now. It's a real mess.

I expected a player that hasn't contributed any goals or assists in 30 league games to not be the focal point of our attack.
Need to rotate and win so... Lingard job will be easier if he can control and pass back to the midfield and if Martial helps well. Martial and Fred playing well, Matic and Lingard not making mistakes is going to make us win.
