I don’t count flying round the world as being careful. He should have been in Carrington every day being monitored. I've been a proponent of Pogba because he is a great player and we need some great players. However, the coincidences just keep adding up.

1. Comes back and plays great in two matches right before the transfer window.
2. Sits out Burnley
3. Reported trips to Miami and France and spotted playing basketball etc..
4. Sits out Arsenal

It's as if he was showing the world that he is still a great player and now is angling for a transfer. Everything just kind of lines up for this. I hope I'm wrong.

Lingard has to play a very good game for us to have a chance tonight and we have no reason to be confident of this.
