    Why is he still picking Lingard? While the alternative is not great, he is in better form. Makes no sense.
     
    Definitely a team for the counter that. This SHOULD be a typical United vs Arsenal game.
     
    Such an inspiring bench.. Apart from Mason it's all rubbish, not one who can come in and make a difference.

    Lingard starting because of his past record v Arsenal? No Pogba at all a blow and I can only hope Matic is not as awful as he was in this fixture last season

    Don't really blame Ole, he's got no other options ultimately. Pereira is just as shit as Lingard. Sigh.

    Don’t be daft, mate. Probably our biggest game of the season and by all accounts he is fit. Where is he? Why isn’t he helping our team to drive to a top four position?
     
    Not really confident about this, should be Pogba instead of Lingard. Even Pereira would be better. While Lingrad is usually decent at the Emirates, he was rarely this bad before. He cant control a ball at the moment.
     
    10/11, I had Lingard and changed him for Pereira, just knew he will put Jesse on, to run like mad dog whole game and piss off Arsenal players and fans.
    He might score, I miss Moonwalk.

    SAF would never let a player throw him under the bus in front of the media. If Ole responded yes to Pogba being there based on what Pogba said and he shafted him that should be the end of him

    Expected team without Pogba. We should win this. No bloody idea what is going on with Pogba though. Something is not right.

    He is also our worst player in the squad so there's that too.
     
    I thought Xhaka was off in the january window? Surprised to see him play.
     
    The lineup I'd go for given who we have/with pogba out. Greenwood off the bench the right call too for now. I like starting Lingard as well, we'll see if it pays off.

    Arsenal with 4 players who do feck all defensively, gaps should be there for us.
     
    Maybe Lingard playing and Pogba out was a forced decision. Seeing Matic in the starting 11 sucks, but with McT injured we don't really have a choice. But, FFS, what is the explanation for starting Luke Shaw and benching Williams again? :( You can say "caution" I say cowardice.

    We've seen the team manage without Pogba this season, big games and small games. He's obviously the best player in the squad, but it just seems like an endless circus when he is around the first team. If he's on the verge of fitness, you have constant speculation about his dedication, if he's fit and playing any and every mistake is hyper-analysed, add to that the possibility his agent is mouthing off yet again.

    Has it been of any use to us having him 'fit' in the last week?
