Surprised people care that much for the FA cup. I mean Bailly, Lukaku, Sanchez and Romero are not youth players.
As an Englishman I will always care for jt. Besides we haven't been CL or league challengers for 6 years so it's the next best thing for us really. You happy just qualifying for top 4 like Spurs or Arsenal every season? The Fergie days are long gone

No idea why he is making so many changes. Weird decision making. Literally his best chance of silverware and drops De Gea against a team that rivals us. I am fine with Lukaku and possibly Sanchez but this isn't the Carling cup
The first one after 7 games, I disagree with Ole's decisions. :nervous: Low confident with this. I mean if it's vs some small team like the previous FA Cup game, then I would agree, but this is vs a top team.

Let's hope he won't regret it, and the players picked today to really perform.

Nonetheless, it's a much better and more stable lineup on paper than the previous FAC game mess, with Lingard upfront to balance the ATK and our strongest midfield combo. So at least, there is some comfort here..

I wasn't expecting Solskjaer to field such a strong line-up. I thought Fred, Pereira, among others, would start this evening.

It's so weird the fact that us starting Sanchez and Lukaku brings about complaints of starting a weak side. If only they were at their best once again.

Tbf on the whole de gea vs romero thing. Romero is still better than Cech is at this point, so its no excuse if we dont manage to win. Itll be a tough game regardless, I doubt the difference will be us not using de gea for someone who is still quality.

This place is going to explode at Ole if he doesn't get a good result.

Some of the comments on here are utterly pathetic. You know who you are. Get a grip.

Yes, some people really need to get a grip!

When Jones plays it's doomsday for some and now that Bailly is playing it's more doom.
Why Romero say some ! So when does he ever play??!!
OMG say others about Alexis and Lukaku! Sanchez has the chance to be a hero tonight and Lukaku needs to show Ole his worth which he showed us when he first came here - so why not??!

Come on let's go for them especially when they play their 'suicide football'!

To be fair this is the kind of thing Fergie would do and shock us all by winning so if Olé has learned from the best......more power to him!

I'm looking forward to seeing this.

We need some midfielders. Badly. We can't trust anyone to bring in, and give these three a rest....

Yeah i care about PSG and top 4. Top 4 will enable us to buy players for next season with CL football and make the next step, challenging for the league title. Dont care about the FA Cup at this stage, it is not the final.

Feeling nervous now. Hope we can continue our good run if not, full focus is on top 4

We've never started these two under Ole. Hopefully he can get the best out of them.
Im not sure we will able to play with the same fluidity. There are some question marks but we will get answers in the next two hours.

Was thinking their right back would be a weakness with Bellerin out so bit dissapointed no Martial. Hopefully Sanchez steps up.
Yeah, was hoping for Martial and Rashford to rip their right side to shreds but at least they can come on against tired legs

People are complaining about Romero playing? He’s never let us down!

cant complain with the line up. Clearly Rashford and Martial are our first choice strikers and are getting a bit of a rest. Good to see Valencia has been banished. Should never play for the first team again. Would have like to have seen Dalot start. If Lukaku and Sanchez dont get their s*it together then they can get out.

Well I dont have a problem with him picking Alexis and Lukaku. Martial and Rashford cannot start every game.

I already said I agree with that, but resting both at once in the much harder game of the two we have in this 5 day period makes no sense IMO and in truth it also comes back to the fact I don't think either are good enough to pick up the slack.

It's so weird the fact that us starting Sanchez and Lukaku brings about complaints of starting a weak side. If only they were at their best once again.

    Yeah short memories!

I wouldn't go that far. But you can't play that poorly against Reading and then expect to start against Arsenal.

I agree, but if you can't convince your manager to start you at the FA Cup then you're done in the club. When will he trust you to start in the EPL? in the UCL? you're simply done.

I know it's Arsenal, but they should prove in training that they are good enough. If they had a bad game against Reading and had great weeks in training I'm sure it will help OGS to trust them.

Just tuned in, did I miss something at the start, why is all the BBC coverage about Arsenal?

They might beat a weakened United side tonight, but the Emery hype puzzles me.

I was thinking Lukaku & Sanchez might start tonight. Perfect opportunity for them to show what they can do. Still have hope that Sanchez can make that right side his own.

Big toe calling Ramsey a luxury player, just like Ozil.

Not against this quality of opposition. Against league 1 sides then yes but if we go out then he looks like a fool who threw away his best chance of winning something cause we ain't winning no champions league. Why does De Gea need a rest? Never heard of a GK getting tired

I would prefer to finish top 4 and give away the FA Cup, rather than miss the next UCL and win the FA Cup. I not they are not exclusive, but rotation is fundamental to keep armony in the dressing room and keep players rested and healthy, other way inevitably we will finish with a lot of injured players.

It's so weird the fact that us starting Sanchez and Lukaku brings about complaints of starting a weak side. If only they were at their best once again.

It's a damn good point...boo hoo...whyyyyy whhyyyyy do we have to play the most expensive player in the Premiership and the highest paid. And why do we have to play the best reserve keeper in world football. And why do we need to play a potentially world class centre back instead of Phil Jones.

    Honestly I can't stand it....

But no really it is a risk. Starting one of Sanchez or Lukaku makes sense, both is a risk and even more so with Lingard rather than Martial or Rashford

Are United playing in this game? Haven't heard us mentioned once since I turned BBC on
