Everton Football Club - nicknamed The Toffees and The Blues, are a professional football club based in Liverpool, England; and were founded in 1878 as St Domingo's, a sports club for people from the parish of St Domingo's Methodist Church. Everton was a founding member of The Football League in 1888–89, and became the second club ever to be crowned champions of England, after Preston North End. Historically, Everton are one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won 9 League titles, a European Cup Winners' Cup, 5 FA Cups, and 2 League Cups; while hosting the talents of Dixie Dean, Gary Linekar, Alan Ball, Neville Southall, Kevin Ratcliffe, and current Manchester United star Wayne Rooney. Everton play their homes games at Goodison Park, and share a bitter, historic rivalry with cross-town neighbors Liverpool, termed the Merseyside Derby.

Does that red card suspension carry over to the FA cup?

Stones went off injured and Funes Mori got sent off. Will Funes Mori be available for Saturday? If not, who the actual feck is going to play CB for them.

Match that may decide future of few players.

We have to win this. There's no feckin excuses this time.

They are an abomination. We should be looking to finish them early on.

Mori suspended, Jagielka injured, Stones injured, Barkley not happy. What has happened to Everton?

    Their messiah Bobby.

Kenwright in 2013:"Moyes' first words to me were 'I'll keep Everton up'. Roberto's first words: 'I'll get you in the Champions League."

    Who got sent off?

Funes mori, for a really bad challenge, was a deserved red card.

Honestly having watched the match tonight we should be beating these fairly comfortably, they were awful.

    Team should be...

    ---------------De Gea---------------
    Valencia--Smalling--Blind--Darmian
    -------Carrick-------Morgan-------
    Lingard-------Rooney-------Martial
    --------------Rashford--------------

Subs: Romero, TFM, Rojo, Herrera, Fellaini, Mata, Memphis

Can't say I'm confident, we'll either loose or Rashford will be the hero again

Oh Oviedo at CB anyone? They also have a new kid playing RB I think.

Hopefully Martinez is still around by this weekend... Don't want them in the semi final off the back of a new manager boost. We'll probably use the same lineup as today which is meh but we don't have the best alternatives so it's ok in the end. They're shite though so it would be a disaster if we don't win. The FA cup really is ours for the taking which would make a decent end for Van Gaal and him not be a complete failure.

They are crumbling so if we keep our heads we should win this, I don't expect a lot of goals as we don't do that, but a defeat here would be pathetic.

Carrick will definitely come back in and the back 4 should remain the same as tonight.

Baines was out injured today, as was Coleman. Jagielka, Mori and likely Stones all out as well.

Are Baines and Coleman our for Saturday as well? I haven't kept up with Everton this season.

As bad as Everton are and crippled with defensive injuries would it really surprise you if we lost? Going by this season, no.

In theory we should win this comfortably and hope Palace also win their bout.

With all their missing players, we really need to be winning this.

It's kinda sad but every league match feels 10000000x more important. I don't want us to lose this, but give me top 4 over the Cup. Saying that I'll take top 4 and the cup.

Hopefully we can build some momentum here. A Wembley final must give us some confidence in our bid for top 4, and with 2 sides within reach above us instead of 1, we've more chance of making it.

    Rashford
    Martial Fellaini Herrera Young
    Carrick
    Darmian Blind Smalling Valencia

We really should win this with ease. They have trouble defending at the best of times so with the injuries/suspensions they have, we shouldn't have any trouble at all. Any confidence they might've had is surely shredded after Liverpool put them to the sword tonight too.

Even then I can't say we'll win with any certainty though.
