Im very disappointed as the last thing we need is another big purchase, but honestly ANY semi stable PL keeper would be enough. There are sub goalkeepers in the PL that would cause us less problems.

Massimo Taibi's four games were obviously a disaster but in terms of regular number 1's he's the worst I've seen for us in 35 years by an absolute mile.

Taibi at Anfield was terrific. Not so much against Southampton.

I don't think it's hyperbole to suggest that Hojlund is the worst striker in the league, and Onana the worst keeper.

Struggling to think of worse for both positions. A striker that doesn't score goals, doesn't get involved, doesn't influence games, doesn't torment defenders. At the other end, a goalkeeper that concedes too many goals, influences games with his poor decision making, and is a torment to our own defenders.

Both of these players are in hugely crucial positions - the two most important positions on the pitch. To continue to play these guys shows you have far our standards and levels have dropped. It's appalling that we have sunk to this level.
