feck Triple H

Also a big ell oh ell at him calling city as one of the most passionate fanbases

Got a couple of City fan mates who watch the wrestling they’re buzzing. I must admit as a fan of United and WWE for over 30 years I’m rather jealous

I think Triple H doesn’t understand that city don’t actually have fans. Assumed because they’re successful that they’re popular. Probably thinks cause United are, they must be too

Id have been all over a United and WWE colab. It is a shame they’ve wasted this on city

AEW doing Dynamite and Collision in the arena in Cardiff (which isn't very big).

£140 for the cheapest tickets, £550 for floor.

I went to smackdown years back when AJ Styles won the championship vs Jinder Mahal in Manchester. Paid like £70 for floor tickets I think. It wasn’t much as I got a ticket for my wife too who has zero interest just to tag along with me and a few mates. Actually couldn’t believe I watched a new champion winning it live.

Nothing wrong with having two main faces. Cody's act will get stale sooner or later now he has the title. Reigns being thrown onto the mix would probably help delay that as well as give them another angle/vocal point

The pop romans going to get when he returns will be one of the loudest ever. Can't wait.

Roman will return at SS probably as face, build towards new bloodline vs old bloodline war games which Roman’s team wins, rock comes back as final boss and we have our WM main event.

Exactly this. Reigns team, the Uso's and Sammy.

Roman's return pop is going to blow the roof off.
I’ll never understand his current popularity. He’s still as boring as he ever was to me. I’m old enough to remember when he was booed everywhere he went - not heel heat, but rather ‘we genuinely loath you and wish you’d quit wrestling’ heat.

I used to feel the same way about him. I just feel that he has an aura about him now, that he's nailed his character and everything flows so much more naturally for him. He has charisma - his promos, his mannerisms and general demeanour all feel authentic to me. I'm far from a regular watcher and haven't been for years so that may impact the way I feel, and I do think his matches leave a lot to be desired in terms of how formulaic they tend to be. I suppose it's a personal thing, he just has a superstar feel to me.

Not watched wrestling for many years now, but when I watch these clips I'm just waiting for the glass to shatter or undertakers bell to start chiming

I think if I didn't have kids and commitments I'd go back and watch the entire attitude era again. I genuinely do miss it even though I'm not into wrestling anymore. Good times.

There have been plenty of rumors that WM 41 will be Rock vs Cody. They even set it up the night after WM40 when Rock gave Cody something saying he'll be back for him.

Don't know where that leaves Roman for WM41. Maybe against Seth? That's one WM match they absolutely have to do before they both wind their careers down.

Leaves Roman vs Solo id guess, should absolutely be Rock vs Roman though

I fully agree with this. I think he's come into his own with the head of the table character.

I still find most of his matches boring but that was more to do with them keeping him as champion for so long.

I think he's also probably over that barrier now where the fans wouldn't accept him as a face. That was mostly down to how WWE tried to ram him down everyone's throat after having already worn that card to death with Cena.

Have you tried acknowledging your tribal chief?

I agree. His matches are mediocre at best but he has the look, feel and aura of a superstar

The Rock to be the super heel, or be the one to help Roman win?
The earlier angle was that The Rock was the tribal chief of the new bloodline. But since they've announced Solo as the tribal chief, I don't know how they can now switch that angle for The Rock to be the tribal chief.

Also, there were recent rumors that The Rock might delay his return and we won't see him till next year. The change in the tribal chief dynamics makes me believe there might be some truth in that.

Roman defeats Solo and Rock returns and deems Roman unworthy and takes the chief. Solo and new bloodline team with Rock.

Roman saves Heyman against Solo at Summer Slam. Old bloodline Vs new bloodline at Survivor Series. The Rock comes back to fight Roman at Wrestlemania as he believes he went against the traditions of the bloodline by causing a civil war, this fight doesn't need the gold on the line. Cody cries whilst fighting a new challenger on Wrestlemania.

Attitude era is best left in your childhood memories. Going back and watching weekly raws you'll realise outside of Austin and the other main guys it was pretty gack

Not really. You can't call the Undertaker, Kane, Kurt Angle, The Rock, Chris Jericho, Benoit, Mankind, Rikishi, Triple H, Vince, Shane and Shawn gack. They were 90% of the show.

Every era will have its Al Snows.

This the route they should take, plenty of options for Cody at WM even if they’ll all feel very Triple H vs Jericho WM18 (I’d like Orton)

The crowd will only care about The Rock as this, in kayfabe, makes Reigns responsible for creating a war with the tribe. I don't think it gives The Rock as much heat as if he were the newly proclaimed tribal chief with the tribe behind him.

How can you cry at will? Heyman is blockbuster.
On another occasion where he needed to cry for a segment he wore the suit he wore to his father's funeral to summon the emotions. No-one commits like Heyman.

"Heyman on how he is able to summon his emotions for TV:

"I'm not that good of an actor. I'm method. I'm method because that's the crutch I lean on. I am not that in touch with my own emotions to summon them at will. I need something to take me there. We did a thing a few years ago where Brock Lesnar turned on me and I'm begging Roman Reigns to take me in. I show up on TV to review this circumstance heading into WrestleMania with Renee Young."

"I'm tasked with taking the story forward that Heyman's life has completely crumbled, that Brock Lesnar's children who are as Howard Hughes reclusive as Brock Lesnar is, are actually friends with my kids, that our families are intertwined, that our lives are together, that we envisioned riding off into the sunset from this industry together, you know, the conqueror, this massive, freakish, once in a lifetime athlete and his Jew, and of course, my heart's been ripped out. So I didn't shave for a week. I did the classic 1970s Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, you know, story of I stayed up for like, I deprived myself of sleep several days walking in and stayed up the night before. I walked into TV and it looked like I was on a real bender. Renee could see me, but I didn't want to go into the real shocker of it, so I had somebody sit in my chair for blocking purposes. I didn't want to sit in the chair yet."

“I brought with me a suit and it was the suit that I wore to my father's funeral, and I had not worn the suit since. I asked them two minutes before we do this and I only want to do one take. Tell me and leave me alone. The production guy came in and he goes, 'Two minutes', and I went, 'Okay, cool. Keep Renee distracted until we're rolling and she says my name.’ I put on the suit and it crushed me because all I could think about was my father's funeral and how desperately I miss him and I loved him, and still love him. God, what I would give to spend five minutes just talking with him. I'm bawling, I'm weeping. I'm openly crying. I get into the chair and I keep my head down because if she happens to glance at my direction, I want this to be shocking to her. I want to capture that shock."

“Three, two, one. She says, 'I'm here with', and when she says my name, I look up at her and I make direct eye contact with her and she gasps and she catches herself gasping and you see her try to get through the lines, but you see she's looking at me like, oh my God. He’s a wreck. All I had to do was just be upset and my story would be told. You'd get it from my demeanor and my tone and my tenor and my emotions. But her look sold it. Her look made it. Her reaction to my method is what did it. I’m not that good of an actor.”

That’s incredible! I’d love to see the promo he’s talking about.
