Was the Head of Scouting at Salzburg, Squad Planner at Leipzig and a very short stint as Technical Director at Chelsea.
Wilcox is the technical director. I imagine he'll be head of recruitment.

This is a big deal. We're talking about a guy who's taken Plymouth to the Champions League final within 4 seasons on FM23.

This is a bigger plus on his CV than the work he did at Salzburg and Leipzig. I’d be worried about hiring someone Chelsea wanted to keep.

Their entire policy revolves around throwing in bids for absolutely anyone another club in the top half shows an interest in.
It would be surprising if a guy who came up through the Red Bull system was the architect of such a policy.

Maybe he's after another higher role? I don't know how many directors a football club needs but whatever this role is sounds like it's not as directory as a technical director.

Their ideal appointment is likely going to be hampered by another gardening leave. So if they have someone in mind who is at another club then they will probably wait till this windows done
