It's important that Hungary (3 points -3 GD) get knocked out so England avoid Netherlands. Hungary are eliminated IF:
- Georgia beat Portugal, no matter what happens in the other match. (It's current case)

OR:

- Czechia beat Turkey by 1 or 2-goal margin, no matter what happens in the other match.

As things stand it's England v Slovakia and Netherlands v Romania..
I'd expect nothing less than Georgia pulling of a shock win here considering it benefits the world's luckiest man - Gareth Southgate.

Though one weird thing about the Dutch is that they always seem to underperform against the "lesser" nations and perform equal to or better than some of the top nations.
Because sitting back and countering is easier than dominating play and defending against counters

Why do you lot even want to avoid us. We're no better than Slovakia
Historically you've been good enough to have some remaining fear factor associated with you, no matter how undeserved it is. That fear factor will make Gareth shit himself even more than normal, and whenever Gareth shits himself the loser is ultimately football.

So not only does Southgate get the easier half of the draw for the 4th tournament running, he also gets Slovakia in the next round. His luck will never end

He has a point. He's clearly being held, preventing him from moving towards the ball

I thought shirt tugs like that were automatic pens these days? I remember us all joking that Chris Smalling was fecked going forward since he loved to do that.

Ronaldo's in the right there, to be fair. That jersey's on the verge of getting pulled clean off.

Last euro's and some qualifiers yeah, but we mostly go out against Portugal or Argentina in my mind.
