Day 7 | Slovenia vs Serbia | Denmark vs England | Spain vs Italy

Talking to a brick wall explaining to people that Rashford in an international tournament is actually a great weapon to have, instead of stockpiling guys who have had better (but nothing jaw dropping) domestic seasons.
Seems that way, rashford can be lethal and has always done well for England. I’m still amazed they didn’t take him

Eze makes the easy stuff look hard, what a player

Unpopular opinion but I think it's time we start to move away from Kane as our guaranteed #9 especially with players like Foden and Bellingham coming through.

Said it months ago. He's already not great for England and at this point he drops so deep that if you are occupying that space and don't have the runners around him he's useless.

England playing long balls is the biggest disgrace, all comes from the southgate

I can’t get over how bad we’ve played this afternoon. Never seen us play this bad before. Usually we control the game somewhat but are boring and negative. This has been chaos

Said the same thing. Rashford is a big game player who was our player of the last tournament despite being in poor form before that one, too.

Mental not to take him as a sub option.

Impressively, Bowen has not had one positive contribution in his 25 min cameo. And yet he was chosen ahead of Palmer.

It’s actually an impressive achievement to make a team of players this good look this bad. He really deserved that knighthood.

Denmark have been given so many chances to win this, they could be easily ahead. They’ll be kicking themselves if they lose to Serbia and get knocked out

I think we've all been saying this. You might get away with it in the groups, but against a legitimately good team we are going to get comfortably beaten based on what we've seen from the last 2 matches.

Its going to need a hell of a glow up from England.

Almost like so much of coaching has gone into "press retention" and keeping possession that players are terrified of losing it by misplacing a quick pass.

That's what I had in mind but that's so misguided. You see it with nearly every teams in this tournament even when there is a lot of space 10m away, they move the ball in space and the press is cooked instead they keep the ball where the defense wants it.

How much money would the FA have to pay to get Klopp. Just pay it, he’d get a break then comes in for the WC. His style with these players would be amazing.

What a free kick. The creativity from Pickford and Walker

You call the keeper all the way to the half way line just to pass it to the nearest defender!! Brain dead
