So as far as I can see right now Biden has a small EC lead, but the republicans are leading in both the senate and house. What's the good news?
The house is already confirmed as remaining with the Democrats.

That the dems are leading in the house and might take the senate.

I feel like the evidence is leaning to a Biden win. Genuinely surprised that the odds are yet to reflect that.

GA down to 56% for Biden on the needle..
Trump is going to hold onto that..

House is called for the Dems already. Senate is definitely a big blow, but if Georgia goes Biden, then there's hope there.

If people appear optimistic it's because things looked much worse a few hours ago.

Oh Jesus. My kid and my wife will be getting up in An hour for school and work. The only plus is I’ve moved from booze to coffee.

EDIT: Also it's 9 am here now so I haven't stayed up for any of it.
House was never in play, never threatened. Senate is still in play.

Ah that's good at least. I must have looked at some outdated information.
Would have been strange for the democrats to lose the house again so shortly after gaining a majority there I suppose.

Stop making a fool of yourself, it’s mostly the rural votes in a few counties.

1.1m votes were cast in NV before E-Day, about 90%. Dems hold a 45k statewide registration lead.

can you stop being so impolite?

I said it looks red, and sorry if I'm not an expert on Nevada rural community, but it is a red state in 2016. So maybe if you don't like my post just put me on ignore

It was blue in 2016, by a narrowish 2.5 pts.

It is a blue state Clinton won by 25k votes in 2016.

If you don’t know what you are talking about, just don’t. It’s not hard.

Fulton, one of the key Atlanta districts, has topped counting until 8am. So we won’t know anything significant more about GA until tomorrow. I think in the end it’ll likely just about stay red sadly though.
Dekalb county even more behind reporting than Fulton county.

G'wan twitter  Back on the coffee now, gunna be fun when Trump pipes up.

PA MI and WI will go to Biden. The early vote swings massively for Biden. It won't be called for a while but this looks to be a good Joe Biden win.

Florida voting republican and texas flirting blue then going red had everyone depressed last cycle till the next morning it became a Dems blowout.

Same happening now.

UnfortunatelyTrump was always going to resort to this rhetoric unless Biden won by a landslide .... This will drag on and on

If 64% of the vote is in, and only 16% of that is early vote, that implies circa 11% of the total vote expected is early vote.

They then say they expect early vote to be 45% of the total. That implies pretty much all of the remaining 36% to be counted is early vote.

If that is the case Biden looks good? He is winning early vote 80:20.

Circa. 4.5M counted so far. Lead for Trump is 670K.

So approx. 1.5M remaining of which if Biden wins 80:20, would give him a comfortable lead?
