I still don't understand how Raiola can be involved in his deal? Surely a ban would also prevent people doing deals "on his behalf" too?

He isn't. Club is working with the H-something guy there in his place. All by the books per the rumors. But you know the money will end up back in Raiolas pocket at some point

Raiola himself is banned but he owns an agency who can work on his behalf. Would be very harsh to ban the whole agency and risk banning legitimate agents just because the owner of that did something dodgy. Apparently the United hierarchy are completely avoiding Raiola and dealing with Barry Hulshoff.

Ronaldo and Rooney with Rio and Vidic.
Evra running the wing.

So again. Who's number three.

He is just taking the piss now  does he like Barca related stuff too or it's just United? Also, does he know Dalot somehow?
Genuine question- How do people figure X player has liked Y's post? Do they spend entire day looking at players' posts and who has liked them?

Wasn't he quoted in the last day or so as saying he loves winding up the media? This sounds perfectly likely.

Raiola's greed and strong control over his clients gives me hope.

It feels just like the days before LvG's arrival or when PP traveled to the U.S. after huge speculation that he aperently will chose real over us which turned out to be B.S. Pogba & LvG kept playing it cool and led the media to nowhere while it was already done a dusted.

he'll not turn an offer to be the best paid teenager in the world because he wants to sit on the bench to watch messi, will he?

It's the calm before the storm.

LVG wasn’t here when Pogba signed/was going to sign

If you follow both of them on Insta, then Y's post shows up on your wall and among the likes, X's name will be visible.

That’s next level muppetry.... I like it
I normally wouldn’t care about shite like that, but why is he liking some of our players’ insta posts? Especially the ones he’s never played with/met

"He" (or more likely, the people in charge of his social media) like every post by every player on that entire cursed site

Really? I suppose no one would post it on here but I haven’t seen examples of him liking Barca players pics. Can’t be arsed looking

Lads I really dont think this is happening. Unless he secretly is a red. I doubt VDS has that much influence on him and Daley Blind didnt have the best time here so I cant imagine him singing our praises. Unless its purely about the money or he really likes the club then I cant see him coming here unfortunately.

I think this is obvious. I believe we tried last week and are probably on standby in case Barca falls through.

I admit that this is an unpopular view but I would rather sign Koulibaly from Napoli than De Ligt. And this is coming from someone who rates the latter very highly and see him as a genuine contender for best defender in Europe in a few seasons.

I feel that we need to have a balanced team before we go for players of his ilk. Koulibaly would be perfect for us.

I got really excited last week with the Rio Ferdinand links (past and future - No.5 shirt etc) - gutted it led to nothing. I've lost my muppet faith.

If it helps you feel better, there's always the possibility that he thinks he's going to the other Manchester much like Robinho. You know, since Manchester City is now more prestigious and no one would ever blink an eye for moving there. But urgh, the countrys most successful club, that could just never happen.

Whilst some people may not be happy about his wages if he does move here -

De ligt becomes our best defender almost instantly - I can't see how people doubt this.

Not even that arguably he becomes one of the top 3 players at the club. At Barcelona this isn't true but at United this is the case - likewise the wages makes sense for us more than Barcelona.
