I hope we play Phil Jones upfront and Grant in net tonight.

He's been spot on with lineups recently. I'd post it on the live updates thing but the server for the frontend is down.

Okay Ole, could have made it less obvious that you want to screw over Scousers but whatever mate.

Ole increasingly seems to be levelling himself. Oh well, let's see how it goes.

I'd not play Lingard here. Being a local guy, he's more likely to be up for it. Bring in someone like Martial who won't be arsed.

If the lineup is correct, I can’t see anything other than 0-4 again. Actually we will lose no matter what team we pick so why even bother

Yep. Playing a back 3 has guaranteed a loss for us so far, and Ashley Young or Darmian in a back 3 to boot...what to say, Ole really doesn't want Liverpool to win the title.

    Stop getting my hopes up.

No ‘big side’ have beat us this season at OT apart from Spurs I think?

    I'm conflicted.

Half of me wants us to play magnificent, flowing football and screw over City with a big juicy 3-0 or something. To watch us really connect and pass our way through them. That would lift fans morale and get us out of this slump in form.

Then I remember the past couple of games, Everton in particular, and the fact that some of these guys don't deserve to wear the shirt with some of the shit they have been producing. Barely stringing 3 passes together, ridiculous hoofball, not offering options, Lukaku pointing to god knows where. Then I think, 'they'll hump us, absolutely hump us'. Would I be angry at that? Not really, they're lightyears ahead of us currently.

And that's what scares me, the fact I'd be pretty 'meh' about losing to City. How pathetic we've become. Feck some of these players.

Mother of all storms just started in Stretford

We've also beat no-one at home. Watford are the best placed team in the league.

    There is no conflict *hissing*

He got them under Mourinho as well. Guess he's friends with either a player or member of staff who is close enough to know.

So can anyone repeat this line-up please?
    Thanks.

By the way, is Slippy/nice backpasser playing??!

I think our record against big sides is quite terrible this season. Lost vs spurs, psg, barca, drew vs liverpool and arsenal. We still have to play city and chelsea, hard to see us getting more than 1 point from these 2 matches.

    We’re drawing tonight aren’t we?

They will be celebrating in the streets of Merseyside and Oslo whilst we cry into our glasses of Blue Moon.

    I’m nervous.

If ashley young is back in its a fecking joke. He should have been left in Barcelona. Total shite

Nice one Ole.just screw the scousers and play a strong team on Sunday .

Starting to get excited/optimistic about this game. Just hope it's not a repeat of Everton and the players show they care.

Just don't make the scousers PL champions. Let them do it themselves. Hope they put this on TVs in our dressing room before the game. A Pogba assist to Agüero would be  though.

That would be a shame as Chelsea are the the team that is most important to beat. Then Huddersfield and Cardiff and hope Arsenal and Chelsea drop more points.

Top four is still possible even if we lose tonight due to the competition being just as shite as we are

I would've tried to find a way to start Bailly and Rojo, but im sure Ole knows best. Don't feck this up City.

Young starting, we don’t even need to hope City wins. Ole does it for us with that decision.

Would be shocked if McTominay doesn't start though. And Darmian? Seriously? Don't believe it.

To be honest, if he had deployed Darmain in the place of Young, I won't have problem with it. Darmain is actually an ok defender but awful attacking wise. However, seeing Young in the lineup is making my head ring. Why is MCTominay not starting? Ole seems to be destroying his good works by himself. And I hope Lingard deserves this chance he got.

I'm shocked McTominay is not starting. Ole resting everyone for Chelsea maybe.
