Football journalism:
- Fail in your original career path.

- Find transfer story and repeat someone reputable's take on it.

Following that we're getting Sanchez for no transfer (covered by that we would have paid in wages for Micky if we would have kept him). Hence, for us Sanchez total cost is his salary, which is 14 a year for the duration of his 4.5 contract and sign on fee 20m plus 5m for Raiola making it 88m.
Our total valuation of 88m for Alexis is pretty feckin good deal considering it is going to be spread across 4.5 years and that includes wages.
That's twice less than Mbpappe's transfer fee let alone his wages.

About right, considering how many people will give their favorite credit for breaking a transfer story while 10 other people give credit to their own favorite. Why does it even matter how much was spent on Sanchez. If its more that just shows that you've got that much dosh to spend, more power to you. Its just good business that has got Utd to this level, there's nothing to feel ashamed about. Its not likely that the splurge is being fuelled by oil money.
