That's the spirit!!!

Had a few, aye mate?
Nope. Am hanging like a bat though.

Well if we get Sanchez - and it looks like we will now - we will be a force.

I mean obviously PSG, Barca, Bayern are favourites but it’s a knock out competition which José knows how to win.

Wengers future could easily be decided as well - if this was my club, I would be so seriously worried:

Petr Cech - turns 36 in 4 months
Laurent Koscielny - 32 - looks to be in decline
Nacho Monreal - turns 32 next month
Per Mertesacker - 33 - looks too slow
Hector Bellerin - 23 - the only real talent in defense, how long will he stay ?
Alexis Sanchez - 29 - out of contract and on his way out of the club
Mesut Özil - 29 - probably the same as Sanchez
Oliver Giroud - 31 - will leave in the summer
Theo Walcott - soon 29 - on his way out of the club
Santi Cazorla - 33 - career over ?
Danny Welbeck - 27 - yet to reach 50 League goals. Scored 13 in 3.5 seasons for Arsenal. Not good enough
Mohamed Elneny - 25 - hardly ever plays - not good enough
Calum Chambers - 23 - hardly played after his first season at the club. Not good enough

Realistically - 10-12 players could easily leave Arsenal in the next 1.5 years. Either because they want to leave, or because they aren't good enough
Wow this is scary! They’ll probably need £400m to rebuild a proper team (current market rates)

Technically, I don't think you can negotiate with players, from the same country, even if they're in the ladt 6 months of their contract. I'm not too sure why everyone has jumped on Souness. I personally agreed with what he said. Carragher, however, said he only chooses us for money! Well we all know that is bull. It would be too easy to go City now and win the league. I wouldn't have felt part of the team who won the league. Being part of the United challenge would be more appealing. He'll get paid well and he would be playing for the biggest club in the world.

I'm not too keen on the rumoured £35m cash-plus-player deal. £35m is a fair price on it's own.

I do wonder about the media fawning over guardiola and his team.

When attention starts to be paid to the antics of the people financing it all, rather than pretending they are 'businessmen', and it will, because if you can guarantee anything in this country, is that when something becomes successful, the digging to find dirt begins, there are a few of these guys that may regret hitching their wagons to that corrupt cart.

If we somehow can manage to send Mhiky the other way (either swap, or 25m or so), it would be a fantastic deal. Getting Sanchez is already a great deal too, and we can get Ozil for free in a few months.
You think we'd get Arsenal to pay for Mkhi?

I reckon the final outcome will be £30m plus Mkhi.

I honestly wouldn't care if we paid £35m and gave them Mkhitaryan. It would be worth it to us because he is genuinely that good, and Mkhitaryan has been so disappointing.

Someone will always be in denial no matter what. Will you still think we're being used when he's holding the United shirt and posing for pictures tomorrow?

No way. Sanchez has just 6 months in his contract. As shit as Mhiky has been, we can still easily get 20m for him, and Sanchez is not going for 50m. With Arsenal more or less outside of top 4 race (and so financial consequences for next season too), they cannot afford to let Mhiky leave for free and lose 25-30m that they can get from him.

Should be sacked for that remark!

Pundits are supposed be remain impartial and not only is he not being but he's accusing united of illegal practices without concrete evidence.
Pretty sure that's a liable comment. United could pursue legal action. You can't suggest the only possible explanation for a player changing his mind is that the club have tapped him up even though his agent is free to talk to literally any club in the world on his behalf.

Reports suggest we are ready to offer £30m and include Mkhi in the deal IIRC?

I could see something close to this happening in this market especially with the competition over his signing. Could see Mkhi valued at 25m and a 25m fee on top valuing Sanchez at 50m if that is what it takes to get him (or even 20m/30m). Plus if we sign Sanchez, Mkhi's wages to the end of the season could be seen as pure cost so him going the other way has some benefit. You could argue it works for both parties.

Yes he is a free agent at the end of the season but then he might go somewhere else and there would still be a fairly major signing on fee to pay. There will be a premium to get him now but still might not bring the fee above the market considering the VVD, Coutinho and Neymar deals.
