Technically, I don't think you can negotiate with players, from the same country, even if they're in the ladt 6 months of their contract. I'm not too sure why everyone has jumped on Souness. No way. Sanchez has just 6 months in his contract. As shit as Mhiky has been, we can still easily get 20m for him, and Sanchez is not going for 50m. With Arsenal more or less outside of top 4 race (and so financial consequences for next season too), they cannot afford to let Mhiky leave for free and lose 25-30m that they can get from him.

Pretty sure that's a liable comment. United could pursue legal action. You can't suggest the only possible explanation for a player changing his mind is that the club have tapped him up even though his agent is free to talk to literally any club in the world on his behalf.

I could see something close to this happening in this market especially with the competition over his signing. Could see Mkhi valued at 25m and a 25m fee on top valuing Sanchez at 50m if that is what it takes to get him (or even 20m/30m). Plus if we sign Sanchez, Mkhi's wages to the end of the season could be seen as pure cost so him going the other way has some benefit. You could argue it works for both parties.
Yes he is a free agent at the end of the season but then he might go somewhere else and there would still be a fairly major signing on fee to pay. There will be a premium to get him now but still might not bring the fee above the market considering the VVD, Coutinho and Neymar deals.
