So today PSG and Nice with the same result (1:0), and the same number of points, lets see if Monaco can keep the 3 point advantage, hard match tomorrow against Nantes.

Why is Monaco's stadium is half empty when they are playing such good football? The stadium is not that big too.

Stadium is about half the size of the population of Monaco itself. I think its just that Monaco isn't a football place. Like Hull and Wigan are Rugby towns, Monaco is more into racing and stuff maybe? *shrugs*

Pity really.

It's a little town, full of rich people.

Pity indeed. That quality of football really deserves a much bigger better quality audience.

In a 90+ year existence of relative success you'd think the club would have developed a fan base around the area.

Nice was a big team in the past, so it's very difficult to take fans from them, if you go farther you have Marseilles and they aren't going to support Monaco either. Monaco has always been a relatively big club in a little market.

Well, 3 points between 3 teams, but at this moment only PSG and Monaco are Champions League level, in the next few years Ligue 1 will raise their level, and by the way Mbappé is even better than I thought when I watched him at the last Euro Under 19 in the Summer, more potential even than Henry at the same age.

By the way, Lemar has been forgotten wiht all the hype around Bernardo and Mbappé. He has been as good as them.

He's been brilliant, but I think what makes him great are two things: the maturity in his play and his delivery from set-pieces as well as open-play crossing. He has a wand of a left foot; the reason people don't talk much about him is probably because he lacks a little bit of star quality compared to the other two, he's not as fast as Mbappé and not as silky as Bernardo. Extremely important though.

I agree with you: I shouldn't have taken your post into consideration.

Now that Nice looks out of the race I still do not know who is the favourite to win this year, if Monaco beats City I think PSG will win, if not and with the advantage Monaco has by having played the 2 matches against PSG and Nice maybe they can keep the first place.

How are Lyon playin? Anything to fear?
They started out very well, but PSG have taken complete control of the game. Besides a good 1-v-1 opportunity for Memphis, they haven't created anything in the last 30 minutes or so. Think I'll switch over to Barca-Valencia, as I'd be really surprised to see any other outcome than a PSG win.

Well thank you. They are somewhat the team I fear the most.

Lacazette is their talisman i think, he has been linked to an english move many times. Toliso is another good player coming through at Lyon. I do think over 2 legs we will beat them. In a final? It will be tricky. I would much rather play them in semi finals and genk in the final than the other way around.
