I really did think they'd do the whole mutual agreement / Van Gaal goes out with dignity after winning the FA Cup thing. Looks like Van Gaal doesn't see the writing on the wall.

They're not, but it's his camp at fault. They're the ones who have leaked the information. Very hard to disassociate them from the blame.

It's definitely a pattern in his management career however two of those clubs are certainly not 'normal' in terms of how they handle their managers.
Inter of course he was great and left for Madrid.
