Honestly, I just can't figure out what exactly we're waiting for. At this rate, we might miss out on the Champions League. Last time that happened, the club lost about £50 million+ in revenues, so why not make a change now when terminating his contract will mean £10 million residual wages tops? Doesn't that make a bit of business sense, apart from the obvious sporting benefit:

That lost revenue bit is just the tip of the iceberg. Delve a little deeper, and will an elite manager/ replacement want to take charge of a team that isn't playing in the Champions League? Plus, will the top, top players want to join the club when we might be missing out on the Premier European club competition for the second time in three seasons? To be fair, Di María transferred to a United team that was out of Europe altogether, but that season under Moyes was perceived to be a blip and he was essentially being forced out of Madrid. Not qualifying for the Champions League will hurt us a lot, on multiple fronts.
Appoint José now, he might create a siege mentality, and that change in mood might uplift the players. Even if we fail to qualify for the Champions League, at the very least he'll have sufficient time to assess the squad first hand, and maybe we will end the season on a positive note - building momentum for 2016/ 2017. Because as things stand we might regress further and end the season with a whimper, which is what happened last season too. It's pretty evident that there won't be progression under the current manager. A couple decent results (point wise) amid an abject couple of months doesn't half fill you with confidence.
